Why won’t my ex leave me alone if he’s the one that ended our relationship?

My ex broke up with me last year in September he got back into a relationship with his babymother he cut contact completely almost 3 months later he contacted me and told me he didn’t want to break up with me and his ex is crazy and was threatening to take his child away and put him on child support. He has been begging for another chance or for us to be friends I have tried to be his friend a few times but I eventually cut him off after a few days because I still have feelings for him and I can’t get over what he did. I told him I did not want to continue being friends and he needs to leave me alone because we are no longer together I have not responded to any of his messages in a few weeks when I block his number he reaches out using different number. If I made it clear to him I don’t want to continue talking why does he keep reaching out?

He seems desperate to just be with anybody. The second he and the other person started having problems, he started begging to be back in your life. It’s like he’s using you as a backup, which is horrible.

As far as him contacting you from different numbers, one solution to that is to get a new phone number if that wouldn’t cause too much inconvenience for you. If you don’t want to do that, just keep blocking him from each number. And definitely never ever respond. Maybe he’ll get the point eventually.

Men are confusing creatures. It’s like when you make yourself unreachable they suddenly want you. Probably a case of they don’t realise what they have until it’s gone.
