no, but I see why people do that and in general, go to fill the void. It makes sense why they do that.
Best to take time off and suffer and get through the misery. do what you enjoy (not that) like exercise, volunteer, walks... get to know yourself... heal up, learn, set some new goals.
nothing wrong and challenging yourself socially, but " that " is just a heap of trouble in the making...

Never something i was ever interested in doing. I've sort of always been doing my own thing at that point so the break up didn't impact my life massively, it was just one less person i spent time around. Would probably be a bit different if my current relationship ended since we live together and have the kids.

I can't do one night stands. I’ll just keep fckin with the same ex until i have emotionally replaced him. I have to have an emotional connection with someone, especially someone new, long before physical

I have no exes and I'm not into one night stands. However, I understand why someone would do this. But it's not something I would do. It sounds toxic.
Yes, I think there are other ways of getting over your ex. Taking time for yourself and focusing on your goals is one of them.

I don't have an ex, (my boyfriend is my first boyfriend) but I wouldn't do that. I'll only regret it in the long run

Yeah after a breakup I did it to get out there again and meet people. I didn’t plan on the one night stand but a few happened. Made me a positive person again and eventually found long term again

Always worse but often people can't help it and have to feel wanted desired after not being so... makes getting over the break up take longer cause you have to get over the ones from the one night stand!
