How to get over a narcissist?

I met a guy back in March and we dated for a few months, he was kind, attentive , considerate “mature” etc , I thought I had met someone with a lot of potential for a good relationship and I was actually very happy with him.
But I had some things going on in my personal life and told him that I felt like I needed a little space but wanted to keep talking and he flipped off and completely changed , and said he needs time to focus on his life and basically ghosted me completely then came back around and used me for intimacy and company multiple times and then ghosted me again, I’m very hurt because be didn’t seem like that type of guy,,, but now I’m honestly traumatized and my trust is beyond shattered. I thought he would at least give me the time of day to break up with me after 4 months, but no, he just used me for intimacy a few more times and ghosted.

dang, that guy sounds like a total tool. Who does that, acting all sweet and caring just to turn around and mess with your head like that?

The good thing is you found out his true colors now before wasting any more time on him. Some tips to get over a narcissist:

- Block/delete him everywhere so you're not tempted to reach out or stalk his socials. Can't move on if you keep seeing his stuff.

- Lean on your girls. Vent about how crappy he treated you so they can validate your feelings and help you realize it isn't your fault.

- Remind yourself every day that you deserve so much better than some wishy-washy dude who plays games. Say it til you believe it!

- Throw yourself into your hobbies, job, school - keep busy so you aren't dwelling on what happened.

- It's ok to feel sad or angry sometimes, but don't let those feelings consume you. Keep pushing forward.

- One day you'll meet a caring guy who won't jerk you around. This trash took himself out - his loss!

Well he showed his true colors... I know it cliche but men lie so much and even if they dont they can be unrealistic, so his actions are the only thing that matters. Getting over someone is a process of realizing you are better off without him.
