So I (25) recently posted about breaking up with my ex girlfriend (24) because she insulted me and my mom by saying bad things about me. We broke up at the end of January and she contacted me 3 times all together after that. Two times she contacted me normally and again started blaming me for something, arguing again as if we were still in a relationship. Last time was 5 days ago when she asked me how I was doing. When I responded coldly to her questions, she started arguing and provoking again, so I told her why don't you point your energy to someone else and she responded "Maybe I have someone else". But she did not say anything more about details, just continued provoking and arguing so I don't understand the point of hitting me up if she is going to start a fuss all over again. So what do you guys think why is she texting me sometimes and is she just trying to make me jelous by saying she is dating someone else? I mean if she is really dating someone, she would not text me.
Dude sounds like your ex is still trying to get a reaction out of you. Sometimes after a breakup people can't let go of that kind of control or drama even if they're the ones who ended it.
It's best not to give her what she wants by getting all riled up and arguing back. She just wants to know she still gets under your skin.
Next time she hits you up out of the blue, just keep it real short and civil. Like "I'm doing fine, hope you are too. Take care" and leave it at that.
Don't give her any ammunition to start a fight. She'll get bored real quick if she doesn't get a rise out of you. Who knows if she's even dating someone else - maybe just trying to make you jealous to feel powerful.
Gotta rise above that drama bro. Hold your head high and move on with your life so she can see you're doing just fine without her mess. Eventually she'll stop hitting you up cause you took her power away. You got this dude!

Just block her. Sounds like she’s stressing you out more than considering working on the relationship and mending it.
