It depends on your intention.
If you don’t mind being the rebound guy, then go for it. If you don’t mind being friend-zoned, also go ahead. Lastly, on some occasions a person was really attached to their ex and will then automatically be too attached to you way too soon… if you’re prepared for that possibility, then also go ahead, but remember to be kind with her broken heart.
talking is fine but waste of time if u r planning for anything serious

No harm in talking.
Most definitely.
Would you be down on yourself if a girl like this didn't give you a shot?
No. I learned a while ago not to take rejection personally. For example like the example you're given. Maybe you deduced this. Maybe you didn't know this. You never know why some someone rejects you. One things for certain it's thier choice. What's important is that you remember it has NO reflection on your value as a person. You have family and friends that love you and care about you. Those people truly know you and are better at determining your worth than the person who rejected you.
And in the case you listed the issue is most DEFINITELY her, not you.
Duh.
Yeah I know it was indeed a stupid question. Would you be upset if a girl like this didn't give you a shot?
