What does it mean when a guy says "Guess I'll talk to you sometime later."

I sent a guy an email saying why we shouldn't be together anymore and my question was his response. What does that mean?

I still love him and told him this. I also said I had to cut contact because it was obvious I care more and have made more of an effort than he has to make it work.

He either

1) Thinks you're being clingy and he has no time for that right now. He's giving you time to calm down and think properly and reasonably (that's how they think)

2) He's trying to come up with an intelligent answer to your question.

3) He is really busy and not available right now.

Well, cutting contact isn't going to solve anything. I think you should sit down and talk through your problems. If he didn't show sincerity, then he doesn't deserve your love but at least you would have given it a shot :)

Means he's leaving it open to interpretation for the future, or he just said something as a goodbye. Kind of like "alright then".

It's really something that he's thinking, so I couldn't tell you either way what he's thinking. If you say he doesn't seem to care, then it might just be him letting you go.
