Ewwww sorry but nooo if I dated a girl I rather she would be the same of my age... At least she understands my age and she know what our relationship needs for our future XD ❤️
im currently dating this man who is 16 years older than me. before i met him i thought 12 years gap is always acceptable, after i met him for a while i thought to myself a lot, age is just a number. i know what i want and i have gone out with many other guys as well but they were all different and I knew I wanted nobody but him.
In my opinion though, if you date someone old enough to be your father or grandfather, that's kind of weird. And a little creepy. But 10 years is fine :)
It's a bit much and this is coming from someone who is doing a 21 year age difference. Different stages in life. He may want to settle down, kids and marriage and at your age you may not want that now
as long you're comfortable with the person, you have connection and happy with him, I don't think the age gap matter. Chemistry- That's the key for a happy relationship, not the age
I personally cut it off at 10 (made one exception at a 14-year age gap though... It didn't work out), but it all depends on what you're comfortable with.
I love older men in their 30's. Age is a number. If you like each other then it doesn't matter. You're both legal adults and can make your own relationship choices.
I'm 19 my boyfriend is 23 that's pretty much the gap I will go but for other people as long as if they are in that appropriate age area then I understand but if you're like 19 dating a 60 yr old then holy crap... come back to reality!
I would say neither because 6 years older is not too bad when your 40 and he's 46. But when you're 21 you're still in school, not ready for kids, not ready for marriage, not ready to live with him while he's ready for all those things.
Honestly I don't think age matters, as long as they are legal then I don't see the problem with it, as long as you have a connection with them then go ahead

To me, it is the stage of life a person is in means more than the number. 21 and 31 should be different stages, but there are immature guys out there that could be stuck. So it might be okay. Just be aware he might not mature for his age.
The older the couple gets, the less it matters. As in: If the guy is fifty and the lady is forty or vice-versa. As it goes on, who cares. It's just creepy when say one is twenty-two and the other is thirty-five. That's just me, however.

as long as you know he is not using you and you are not using him for anything is ok.
As long as it's legal, go for it.

Age is a changing factor, the older you are, the larger the acceptable age gap.
That's why some people say the lowest age you can date goes: Your age divided by two, plus 8.
I would date a Grand-mother who has been single her whole life , if there was Hot chemistry between us... By the way I am sweet 24 :)
as long as you are both of age it doesn't matter...
as long as you guys are happy together and want the same things :)
It all depends, older you get, less of a big deal it is.
I heard there's like, an equation you do to figure out the oldest & youngest you should date.
He sounds like a stand-up guy. Your mom likes him and that's a good sign. If you want to date him, why not?
I think its accepted but the only thing is in ten years he will be 41 but hey if he treats u good go for it I say

I HATE the words 'acceptable" + "appropriate"
Just be yourself and do what YOU feel works :)
Peace xo
