Hitting on girls at the gym yay or nay?

Is the gym also fair game, what would be the best way to approach indirect or direct? Have you ever cold approached at the gym, what would you say? Girls would you mind if an attractive guy at the gym hit on you, not during a set of course. also is it ok to hit on the workers they're some cute 1s there. they're usually not busy at night so they have time to talk but I'm thinking would they give out they're # if they're on the clock?

My one friend says that she constantly gets hit on at the gym and that it's the worst. She's gone to several gyms (even the one at school) and always ends up being borderline sexually harassed.

Anyways, I wouldn't think that most girls would want a guy to hit on them when they're all sweaty and gross. I know I wouldn't. But then again, now that I think about it, you'd know that it's a little more genuine when you visibly look like crap from working out, and a guy still feels inclined to make a move on you. Despite that thought, I'd still probably not feel comfortable.

I can't vote because can't answer. Most girls who work out are insecure and there is some who aren't but in my personal opinion hitting them up might not go so well. If you like praise them for the workout but a friendly way it could be a start. A lot of girls go the gym to workout. I go to an all women's gym and I feel very comfortable there! I also go to a mixed one which I don't feel the same, I feel like guys are judging me like oh I am fat or something. I feel more cautious about my appearance in a mix one.

If they're looking at you it's probably cus they think your hot not fat. no one cares if an out of shape person goes to the gym they're just another person. unless your extremely obese no one's gonna look at you because of your wieght

*imo it's easier to develop a relation when you have an hobby in common, just don't umm how it's said usually (?) "go out of your way" to talk with someone, it may be considered annoying or even pervy and it will ruin the environment for you and everyone 🈲

Not at all. Most women do not prefer to be 'checked out' when they work on their fitness. I mean... this is what my female friends and my ex used to say. They hated it when men 'checked them out' at the gym.

No, they only hate when the WRONG men check them out. If you look like a thug or one of the upper upper tier of men, they're completely cool with it. They will stand in front of you and do squats with dumbbells (even though there is 150 feet of open space on either side, AND they had to carry the dumbbells a ways to get to where they could stand in front of you), look around to make sure you're looking before they exercise, flirt, etc.

agreed, approach and attitude. I'd be ok if a dude wanted to chat with me at the gym... itvwould have to be some sneaky timing though... most people have headphones on and that generally means 'shag off, I'm busy' between headphones and treadmills it's tricky
