Why do many short men think being short is bad for dating?

I mean I'm 5'4, but I see many girls look at me in the streets, even taller ones. I know it would be better to be taller and wish I could be, but I was dealt this life card, so I have to deal with it. In dating, I think I have a chance, good thing I'm leaving the US, which is filled with many superficial brats not worth my time, especially when many lack a brain (better places somewhere else). I think what attracts women is confidence and personality. I know a guy my height who gets really hot girls, taller or shorter, basically a pimp. I mean, I would fuck a girl that is 5'10 don't care, since well "we are all horizontal in bed" 😈. So why do men think being 5'4 is bad? I mean it might sometimes limit your chances at getting girls, but to be honest, I don't think that's all true, Sure, some might be superficial and you can't date them because they "feel safe" with taller men, (I call bullshit, I can beat almost anyone in my high school, even men 6ft, people don't mess with me, plus, I'm respected for being the future valedictorian), and also society says that men have to be taller, but why does it matter? There are others that could be even hotter and sexier, shorter or taller, but are not superficial. Nobody's perfect. In the end, we all grow old, even get shorter, and die, you all who answer are going to die. So, what's the big deal?
