I would say that 90% of the guys I match with do not write back. IF they do, the conversation stops after a few minutes at best. Yet on tinder, I get an influx of messages -- I do try and message everyone I match with.

Guys - what are some reasons you would not reply to someone you matched with?

Also - I don't say things like, "Hey!" or anything weird. I typically ask about something we have in common, or something cool in their pictures that interests me

Girl's standards on Bumble are even higher than on Tinder. What I think happens is that subconsciously you're only swiping really, really good-looking guys that every other girl swipes on too, because the added pressure of having to make the first move makes you more selective.
