My boyfriend doesn't want to drop me at the airport?

So my boyfriend doesn't want to drop me at the airport. I am traveling for a job and i will get back in December. He says he can't beacuse he got no car. However, I believe he can ask one of his friends to getbus there, or he can rent a car. He said he will try. I am so mad because he is second guessing this. I mean if he really do love me he would do anything to be with me right before I leave. Any opinion?

No, being with you to the last minute doesn't prove or disprove his love for you. If he has no car don't expect him to go out of his way to get one to take you a few miles to an airport. You can say goodbye before you leave the house. Plus he can't spend any time with you at the airport!

Hehehhehehe you're such a logical person.. my friends keep telling me if he didn't drop you at the airport then he doesn't love you.. as they say , no man that loves a woman so much can accept that she goes to the airport without him being there and saying goodbye

And what prevents you from calling one of your friend to get a lift or taking a bus perhaps.

Why exactly does he have to find your lift for your work.

It's something if he owns a car and it's more economic and conveniant, but he doesn't currently.
So what's the big deal?

Yes, but that's not the issue. Whether he drives you to the airport or not isn't going to change that Four months.

From my point of view, you're getting slightly offended by the fact that you can't use him to find your ride.

He doesn't have a car
He doesn't rent a car
He doesn't ask a friend
Why do you make him to be the "bad" guy? ( Take that with a grain if salt )

The same thing can be turned around :
Why don't you have a car
Why don't you rent one
Why don't you call a friend
I'm sure you can find a multitude of reason to answer those questions, but the same can be said for him.

I definitely can.. i can ask a friend, i can take a cab.. i only think that if he loves me enough he would want to be with me till the last minute

Is making him pay for a rent or beg a friend only for the sake of being with you til the last minute really worth it?

It's really sweet and all that, but it's also a bit of money thrown outside the window for a slight moment of romantic behavior.
Like others said, if he's well off financially and he makes that choice, cool and cute.
However he could definitely use that saved money for other things. His car for a starter, or pay for your cab once instead of going back and forth only to pay double the distance.

I think having no car is a good reason to not be able to give someone a ride. You can do the same things you're suggesting he should do - ask your friends for a ride or rent a car.
