My boyfriend is an athlete and if he has a rough game I never know what to say to him. Is there anything I should do and say to him to make him feel better?
How do I make my boyfriend feel better?
Just tell him he played good & hug him tight. I'm a athlete myself & losing a game is hard, especially if the game was close or against a rival or playoff game. Get him focused on the next game; offer to help him train & be ready for the next game. Nothing helps a athlete better than having someone there to support them. Get him to relax & not talk about the game if it makes him more pissed about the lose
