There was an explanation for her weight gain and I understood it. But understanding it doesn't make 300 lbs. become cute! She was still a great girl and if I had felt the slightest attraction to her, I would have pursued it. I wish I had felt attracted but it is something that you should never fake.
Recently saw a friend of mine and I'll be honest; I was a little taken aback by how much weight she's gained since I last saw her which was about a year ago I would guess.
My brother's classmate was really smart, athletic and handsome in high school. I even had a crush on him. He has changed a lot since then. Became more chubby and less attractive but obviously he's still as smart and cool.
I'm only in contact with one person from when I was at school and she hasn't really changed in appearance much. I hang out with her a lot though so if she changed gradually I doubt I'd have noticed.
Weight gain is a issue ofc lol but shit all these girls i knew in middle school and High school are some heroin addicts n crack and meth badly suffering from it a lot of them were. Pretty snd some died from OD, one girl posted about being clean and back from rehab but she looked horrible frfr
i met someone from school after long time, he was just out of rehab for excessive drug meth use, i was shocked to see him, the guy was an athlete in school, he looked so skinny and fragile

I was not "horribly disappointed" but rather I could not reconcile the image of the person I had in mine and the person before me.
Her belly button looks like a mouth and that could explain the weight gain
The photo of a heavy Emma Watson is not real. It has been seriously photoshopped!
I'm not really a fan of the before picture either
It's hardly fair to expect a female to look the same when she's geriatric as she did when she was a teenager.
Yes, you are right, and I did not expect her to look the same. I anticipated the normal aging process. That is not what I saw when we met.
I've seen younger women, in their twenties, bulk up from a normal weight to near 300 lbs in just a few years. Damn that wedding the cake is fattening.

I don't understand how someone's changing appearance over many years would disappoint me tbh.

just look at there mother because that's what they will look like 80% of the time.

A lot of people from my past have those faces and/or bodies now, including me lol. That's the gift of survival.
I've seen on facebook that some girls I fancied in school have lost their svelte figures and gotten progressively more chavy.
Can’t say that I have. I haven’t seen anyone from college or previous since I left.

A lot of people during High School had this happen to them, the days of youth doesn't last long.
Dayyumm no.. Damn Emma is attractive. In that pic. What wife material.
Very similar thing with me. But was a old girlfriend at 18 now she is 50 and very unhealthy looking.

After 20 years post high school, it got harder and harder for some of the "hot chicks" to keep it together. Most blamed it on having kids.
It happens, not only we gain weight but we get old and that is just normal. But we tend to stay with what used to be.
Many times just stop looking to the past because you won't like what you find that is a very important lesson to learn

Mostly seen beautiful girls turn into alcoholics and meth heads. Pretty fucking gross.
People have disappointed me in a variety of ways, but weight was never the singular reason for it.
