Why do guys flirt but never ask you out?

I've had this happen countless times and i don't get it. Why flirt with me and lead me on if you have no intention to date me?

The most recent example is this guy who's a friend of a friend. Though we never meet up alone, we always flirt over text and on the phone. He will casually mention screwing me after taking me out on a date but then never actually makes the initiative to ask me out on one. It makes no since!

Today I cut him off and told him to hit my line when/if he's ready to step sexting me (he's sent nudes, I have not returned the favor... which he says im a tease for) and actually go out on a date. I'm done with him but this isn't the first time this has happened. And I don't get why!

The same reason a woman might

I just read a story over on Quora, about a man who has a wife, who has DD boobs and is very attractive, she likes to wear revealing clothing, and then go out on the town with him, and she'll tell him to pull over next to truck drivers, where she'll literally, pull down her blouse and hike her skirt up so that you can see basically everything, bra and panties or not. It's to tease the truckers, and then they speed off.

It's considered indecent exposure, and she should be in jail/shamed of herself but.. she's teasing them, to get a rise out of them, just so she knows she's still attracitve to other men. Her husband SHOULD be pissed, instead, he likes it. THE CUCK
