I am 20 and I think that 30+ years old men that only hit on me or girls of my age range are disgusting, shallow and don’t deserve any kind of love, especially when they tell me that they aren’t attracted to women their age. It’s just make me feel that i’m a piece of meat that will be traded in a decade for a younger model.
All I see when an older man hit on me is: hey cutie you’re still young and fresh, so I wanna exploit you before you expire!!! Please give me a chance!!
It just disgust me when I see that most men no matter their age will go after women my age if they had the money and statu to buy themselves a wife ( aka the gold diggers they complain about) , and it truly wanna makes me give up on falling in love, because I feel that if I end up being single at 30 ( anything can happen) I will be disappointed and left aside like yesterday’s garbage because I’m not as pretty as the younger version of my self, and that a man will only go after me, because he can’t afford to date a younger girl

I get the specific guys that ONLY hit on younger women and say older women aren't attractive; those are the creepy older guys I have learned to avoid. But, I have also found that there are older guys out there that are really awesome to date too.
Guys in their 30s seems to reach a sexual confidence from the bumbling 18-25 years, and being a younger girl (23) I love the attention from 30 year old guys; they are excited because they can try a lot of stuff with you, and if they have been active and taking care of their health, great stamina and great physical fitness level in that age. And to me, so many guys are devastatingly handsome in their 30s. I have noticed when I dated guys in their 40s (I dated two guys in their 40s), the stereotype of being set in their ways and not knowing how to style their hair/clothes, caught between looking too hip and too old came up. It's like when that "40" word comes up, it changes guys. It's not a death sentence! One of the guys I dated was 43, and I saw some pictures of him in his 30s. Not even kidding, hottest man I have ever seen, better than Brad Pitt or whomever the Hollywood heartthrob is. Square jaw, when his beard was coming in it lined that jaw perfectly, messy sandy brown/blonde hair that was the perfect length, perfect teeth, in amazing shape with a six pack and overall muscular build with huge shoulders, and the bluest eyes you have ever seen. Unbelievable. And he let himself go style wise and stopped basic grooming, and his personality got very "fuck it" and less spontaneous, it was hard to see he was the same guy.
So to me, if it's an older guy who looks to be in decent - really good shape, and feels confident about some basic life choices (kids or no kids/okay to good job, has a few goals) it's less creepy to me than an older guy who looks like a wreck, trying to hit on young girls because he needs someone to tolerate him (sounds more like the guys you mention that specifically target young women and mention they aren't attracted to women in the same age group). Sometimes it makes me feel good that I am attracting guys that have careers, have at least a little flair and effort in dating me, and appreciate that I work hard to stay in shape and eat well to look good.
At the end of the day, at least you have some target practice for flirting and rejecting guys. If they are bold enough to approach you, then they should know they don't know what response they will get! I have worked out some good one liner turn downs to older guys that are just creeping on me because they want to look. One thing, I have stopped getting down right angry because that seems to spark a weird "we have a live one boys!," vibe...

i don't mind a ten year age difference. but the most i'll go is 30. I'm 20. ** some men (not all), are pathetic. they think even if they get fat, old and ugly, they can still attract the pretty young thang as long as they have money. hilarious. know this: it does not matter how old you are. women too have the ability to become rich as they age and as they become well-adapted to their careers. guys who buy young women like that are pathetic, knowing full well that she most certainly has a young handsome beau on the side and can't wait for grandaddy to die so she can claim all his assets in the name of "love." some people (both men and women) disgust me with their materialism. most of them are not even the hot stuff they think they are. if a man looks at me at 30 and tells me "i've hit the wall" and that a 20 year old will always be better, hotter, sexier, i'll be like (okay. not like i need you. i got enough cash to wipe my ass with. i too can find a young hot men: i will be rich after all. have fun with the cheap bitch you picked up who most certainly is using your credit card to pay off her boyfriend's college tuition and new lamborghini). and what's most laughable is that those same men complain about how "all women are cold-hearted golddiggers." well sweetheart, you're the one making it possible.
I can understand seeing as if you've recently left your teens and some guy 10y+ hit on you that feels kind of creepy. But as we grow older and away from youth, it becomes less about age and more about compatability. I myself being closer to 30 is looking 10y up or down to be fair, but honestly its also a bit about biology I think. So, men and women are different, women can make babies, men cannot. Women tend to want to have kids sooner in life partly because of risks with births being higher as we get older, but I think also a difference in hormones plays a part. Men aren't in that much of a rush though, we can afford to stay young (in mind), irresponsible and foolish for longer. Women at my age for example mostly seem to be looking for that stable guy to make a family with. Which is more likely a guy who's tired of youthful behavior, has a stable job and generally has his life in order. Me, not being in a rush isn't ready for that, im not done with youth even if my time in it is sort of running low. I think generally women (in a rush) want older men, whether that be just a few years or more, but yes I think 20yrs difference is a bit too much, at least to me. But I guess romanticly I want to believe.
In the end, just like how it is about sexuality, it's none of our concern what preferences other people have. It doesn't affect us. And of course, not everyone is like the things I've said. There will always be someone we don't want hitting on us, don't let it affect you.
Interesting view, never saw it from your angle. Is it ok... of course, those are your feelings... and it is oriented around you feeling like the value is just how you look rather than the content of your character. So yes, that is ok to be disgusted.
I ws never drawn to young girls even when I was young... always older. I was browsing a book that talked about how some men are drawn to younger... I don't understand that. Maybe it makes them feel... younger?
I go for character/class... how she carries herself. If she holds her value, is positive, has charm, I like. I've only attempted to date one girl 11yrs younger than me, and that was... a lot. I would assume you are right, but it may not always be true... just how you feel. I don't claim to understand these males. I suspect the majority are just using women... to make up for their failures and inadequacies. A few are not... e. g. I know a 45 old married 3x year old filippino... he wanted to get married and have family... he gave up on western girls and went to phillipines to find her.
There are older guys who just aren't that valauble to western females, who do want familes... and value the woman for life.
I do believe there are some men who are attracted to your personality not your youth but there is a whole movement based on only dating 30 and below which comes off as using younger women. It doesn't take into account that the younger women might have no interest in older men.
The movement advocates preach that older men have so much going for them with finances, maturity, better looks, etc. that younger women will automatically be attracted to them. For some women this is true but not for all.
. Also, they are told that once you have the younger woman you lead her not the other way around and there is no negotiation. If the man doesn't want do something he just doesn't.

Agreed. You are right so their is no winning. Some men complain about the same thing about older women. In reality many older women worry about a man latching on to them to be taken care of either financially or to do their cooking and cleaning which many of us don't want to sign on for.
That actually is not uncommon for young women to find that bothersome. I myself - technically as an older man - think it's pretty terrible too. I've seen guys in their 50s hitting on 18 year-olds and it just seems kind of pedophilic to me even if she is of age.

It's not bad. In fact, I completely agree with you. Not only that it's gross, but I think your theory about why they do it is pretty much dead on. I am a fifty-year-old man. I am exactly in the age range of the guys you are talking about. However, if I ever met your acquaintance, I would not hit on you. I wouldn't try to look down your shirt. There are several reasons for this. 1. I am in love with someone who loves me in return. I need no one else. I want no one else. She is the best, the most wonderful person I have ever met and no one else measures up. (No offense.) 2. I am alright in myself. Men who consistently flirt--people who consistently flirt, I think, do it largely from a need to feel important. Somewhere inside they lack self-acceptance, so they are constantly trying to get positive feedback. With older men who flirt with younger women, they are desperately trying to ask, "I'm still hot, right? I'm still desirable, aren't I? I'm still a man, still important, still capable of getting the girl, because getting the girl is how you tell if you still have worth. I don't feel like I have worth on the inside, so I need people to tell me I have worth all the time. I need people to tell me I'm sexy, that I could still fuck them if I wanted, because if not, then I don't know who I am."
I think they chose younger women because it makes them feel young, and because they think that they might have a leg up, like they can manipulate them. I'm sure some of them do. And then there's the question of why the younger woman wants him back. It could be healthy. It's possible, but not likely.
The last thing I will say about this is that none of these guys is happy. None of them. To cast a wider net, anyone who feels the need to manipulate to get what they want--man or women, gay, straight, bi or whatever, none of those people are happy.
Okay, I am 30 (and single) but when I'm in my early 20, even when I'm a teenager, and still now, I find older man attractive. As long as they are single.
I have dated older man with 11y age gap when I'm still a teenager, and I like it. We didn't do anything sexual at that time (I'm in Asia, in my time we didn't that open to sex). And when we dated it's not only about money, he helped me a lot with my issues. So I didn't see him like what you think older man is.

In a related way, I wonder if you have a history of abuse in life, or were perhaps raised with a very strict set of ideals regarding life. In almost all cases, life is messy and as unpredictable as humans. I'm sorry you are stressed by older men, but that mindset will not aid you in life. Besides, life being so unpredictable, you may encounter one who strikes your fancy, despite the age.

Anyway, I had set a line of not dating anyone under 30 and drawing the line at about 28 because the woman younger then 28 were not mature enough for my tastes.
Does that mean all woman? Of course not, just who I experienced while dating on apps.
My girlfriend was the exception and I made it clear she shocked me when she would ask if she was too young for me, I said 'usually I would say Yes you are too young, but you are the exception to the rule.'
The idea of the age gap if I think back in time and starting putting the 'oh when I was this old, you were that old' is weird and not something I think about but I also didn't know here back then.
She doesn't care one bit about my age and we have a deep connection that I did not think I would find with someone that young.

You state 30+ guys hitting on 20 year olds or "girls in your age range - so what does that range include? 19 to 23 yr olds? So, it's possible you think that a 31 yr old guy asking out a 23 yr old girl, who probably looks older than that, is disgusting. News flash... 8 years is NOT a big difference, especially when the girl is older. If she was 35 and he was 43, or 45 even, you probably wouldn't think THAT was disgusting, or would you?
You're free to put any age range limit on what's "not disgusting" that you wish. I'm not saying that NO older guys prey on younger girls, but not ALL older guys have such motives. Furthermore, if a guy wants to buy a trophy wife for himself, and she's into being one, it's two adults in a mutually beneficial arrangement they both agree on. You're free to find that disgusting too, but don't assume the woman has no part in it.

It's not bad, per se, but your comments are a little naive and make you sound like you have some serious gender-based bitterness going on. You sound like a typical feminist, actually.
Many girls your age are very attracted to older men, just as some older men are attracted to younger women. It's always been that way and always will be. It's human nature and coded in our human DNA.
The reason those older guys hit on you is that they have a lot of success with some of your fellow younger women, so if you choose to see it as a problem you should at least have the honesty to recognize there is equal fault on both sides of the gender divide.
Typically when I see younger women like you who take offense at this issue it is rooted in a bitterness about the fact that women lose their value in the sexual marketplace at such a young age, typically in their late 20s or early 30s. Is that fair? Nope, but there are a lot of things in life that are not fair, and there are just as many that hurt men as there are that hurt women. So cheer up and don't let it ruin your day.
I get what you mean. The other day I was buying some things in VS and in the line to go up to the register there was a man and a girl in front of me. At first I thought that he was her dad until I saw them kissing and groping each other. To say I was shocked would be an understatement. The girl looked barely legal and the dude looked easily in his early 40’s, maybe late 30’s but I’d be giving him too much credit. He was going for the fit and trying to look younger than he was look, but you could tell that she was some sort of trophy to ail his midlife crisis. You sound angry about this. You must have had several situations where older guys hit on you. I say stick to your guns on this issue. Most everything you stated is very sound. However I will inform you that there exists some ladies your age whom want an older man for whatever reason. BUT those ladies make it apparent to their friends (there age) so you can simply ignore it when they swoon for a guy who is out of his element.
There are plenty of guys your age to shop for! They will also be around a lot longer when you find the man of your dreams. No need to rush. Many of them just want sex too, to use men, to manipulate, to run away from their problems. Many of them are naive and think that men your own age are not worth dating because of your mentality. In order to love someone in dating there has to be chemistry and it has something to do with hormones. But if you love someone without even having any sexual attraction to them, just better be friends with them. But the situation right now if you don't know how chemistry works then it's safe to assume that you're probably asexual and it is nobody's fault your born that way.

No, I'm here because my parents made a foolish mistake doing what they're doing, and that's why they had a dysfunctional abusive marriage for 23 years of my entire life even before I was born. I guess that's why I was abused, hit at with a belt, having to see my mother slapped in the face, get called a bitch by my own father and so forth. It has nothing to do what I experience is not what everybody else experience. It's because they choose to live a life they want to live and they think there's no consequences to it. A lot of them are not authentic or honest about their pain. Because they don't want to be judged by the world. If somebody says I'm hurting in in my relationship, you will say how they just need to figure something out and try to work it out. But what you don't know is that they're being abused in it. If they tell you directly that they're being abused in it, you want to say how they're just making up stuff and it's not abusive, but meanwhile they're the ones that's hurting. Now if they don't tell you that they're hurting, then you want to say how much their hypocrite because they didn't tell you that they're hurting. I have been bullied by such girls growing up talking about my hair being dry and nappy, and how I don't take care of it and why don't I put on hair extensions. Yeah, that's why more than half of them don't have much hair left on their head. I grew up with abuse. You act like I don't know. I grow everybody no matter the gender the SAME. NOT man's, not this world. And whatever he said in his word being a sin, is sin. That's it. I go by the word of God, and NOT my own personal feelings on the matter unless I PERSONALLY state that. Read the Bible, get your facts straight about me being one-sided, a hypocrite and whatever else you wanna throw at me. Because practically everything I ever speak about comes from the word of God and his wisdom he instills in me to say and speak and teach on. If you don't like it, you do NOT have to respond to me or follow me anymore on this site. You are FREE to leave anything you wish.

But complain about what work YOU have to do for us. When reality you don't have to do jack SQUAT for us! You don't need our validation for your self-esteem. You do not have to chase us for anything. It's free will. You men like plenty of women CHOOSE to do it.

I have met extremely few women who actually get men as I do. Very few. Its a choice and a desire to communicate and appreciate each other's differences as long as you are not using it for your selfish desires. Unlike the rest of you people. I do NOT treat people, men especially like sexual objects. I for one do not wish to be an object. But to be loved for my SOUL! Because when you grow old your body is going to decay and wrinkle up anyway.

Because we have been told by people like you, both from family and older people that if we DON'T we're going to miss out on having a family and an opportunity to get married and be financially secured. THAT'S WHY. If most of us had it any other way, and we DO [insecurities won't let us] we wouldn't do it. Most of them have a hard time finding suitable partners, so they tend to settle for whoever they can get who has the most reasonable and desirable outcomes: money. It's often about money and stability for women.
Also, many are FICKLE and NAIVE as I told you BEFORE. They don't KNOW any better until it's months and years down the line when they realize it's too late. When they realize the men they're married to or dating have even more baggage than they can handle when some of the REALIZE they're wasting their youth away when many realize that that there WERE better guys for them. They were just looking in the wrong PLACES. Because why? They're often broken. And many of these men know that. It's instinctual. That's why they mostly get upset at me and talk about how I will regret it later. Hah. I ain't stupid. I know better to be involved [IF I wanted to date and marry] somebody no more than 4 years my senior. Not 4 below, or over 5+ younger or older. I would not be able to relate to them. And also to add. MANY men are trying to make themselves look younger than they are like many women do to attract these girls. And many of these same ditzy girls don't know their age until way after they got too involved. But because they use 'love' to manipulate the situation after more and likely sex took place, he got he wrapped around it. Manipulative people are manipulative people. I lived with it for over 23 years of my life. I know it when I see it. They're biased against women their own age and some of them are virgins never dated or have much baggage like me. They need to stop it.
I'm not looking at the stigma, I am LOOKING at the negative physical, emotional, spiritual, mental and psychological consequences it has on everybody around them. That's why there is a stigma. Because there are so many cases of unsuccessful unions of large age gaps. More so in dating than those already married. Because unlike 1920, the intent for doing so is not pure. It's selfish.
Plus, most of those men are hypocrites because when they could have gotten married young they never did. They wanted to play the field. But let a woman do it, she's a whore. There are double standards and hypocrisies EVERYWHERE. Do not be so naive to have those bitter men whisper in your ears to get you to turn on good women just like I don't let bitter women whisper in my ear. Stay away from those toxics blogs, websites, videos, and articles and get out and talk to REAL WOMEN about these things. Here their side instead of placing judgment. I make my judgments after getting to know these men. And like I said before. NOT ALL are bad. They are mainly misguided and hurt. Especially if their divorcees and single fathers. The same rules we women have applies to them to for when they were younger than 30. They had more than enough time by 18 years old to decide what kind of life they wanted to live. That's why there are still a good amount of women past 30 and 40 who can still get mates to marry and have children with. They just need to branch out and explore other places if their place of residence is full of undesirables for them.

You can find it disgusting, but the reality is that *all* men prefer young women, because age is *literally* what men find attractive on women, since it directly correlates with reproductive potential.
"Love" is just reproduction, either you accept that or you keep on believing that it is something more, but you are only going end up being disappointed, because what you want simply not real and it is never going to be.

I want a guy who’s financially stable with a career and a house, because I also have these attributes. If I was homeless or jobeless I wouldn’t reject a guy for having the same flaws as me, the same way that older men shouldn’t reject older women, because they’re both aging. It’s just show that most men are actually incapable to love.

My dad like them supper young to. After my mom died. He went and married a 22 year girl. He was in his 50s at the time. I have lost touch with him. but I last heard he is with another young one, he got caught cheating on his second wife with a 18 year old.

Everyone is different. I used to work with a lovely (yet not very attractive) obese 51 year old woman who was married to her younger 26 year old male lover. The thing is age shouldn’t really matter , it’s the person and the chemistry that matters , so for you to say you think it’s disgusting for an older guy hitting on a younger girl that’s ok cuz that’s your preference but the reality of it is that it is out of your hands because there are girls that like older guys , me personally doesn’t set age as my preference unless she is under legal age But if I meet a girl that I think is beautiful and she has a great personality her age is the last thing I am thinking about I have met girls that were 15 years younger then me that had great chemistry with me and I met girls that were older then me that had great chemistry with me so her age didn’t stop me from liking her and my age didn’t stop her from liking me so it just comes down to your preference , age to me is just a number it’s the person that matters
For starters if you want to have a more sane aproach to people then a sexual trade that makes you thing you are the object (because you are by selling you) , then find a real job... the risks of that easy money are not worth the health time and effort, and of course as you said, your time in the market won't me more than 30yo , like a soccer player, so instead of try to fit friendship or relationship into a job that is just sex for money and nothing more... find a job that will get you a jubilation, travel, Christmas , study some stuff you like and spend time and effort in some hobbie, instead of being the fast food for someone who got paid today and want to get drunk or drug and have sex , it be better for your mental health.
