The labels really don't matter to me that much. I have known some women who can tear down and rebuild engines and transmissions, and some women who look dainty in a dress and are at home at a society event. Some of those women are the same women. I have a real respect for people who can do things, whether male or female, masculine or feminine, dainty or otherwise.
One of the most feminine women I knew way back when asked me, while dressed to the nines at a formal dinner, if I thought women could learn to ride motorcycles. I looked at her, thought, "I'm going to take a chance here." and replied, "No part of the motorcycle is controlled by genitals. If the woman has hands and feet, and a brain and eyes, nothing says she can't ride a motorcycle." We were together for 7 years. I still miss the good times we had when we were people first, and boy / girl second.
I'm sorry, I don't mean to sound like an ass, but in truth what I look for in a woman is a Caring, Giving, Loving, Very Sexual and Strong woman, on the inside, The outside I like Her To be fit or close to it, I like a hard body, Don't get me wrong... I love it.
On the Other hand, I don't want her hard or harder than I am.
Damn, This question is harder to answer than I thought w/o sticking ur foot in your mouth.
I like a hard body but a Curvy, Soft & Supple Woman, With a femimine voice, Her voice has to be at least 5 octives higher than mine.
After reading some of these replies from the guys, I realize I am definitely going to single for a LONG time.
I'm not very feminine; I'm a tomboy and proud of it! I realize most guys prefer "girly girls," which is fine.
But you can be masculine AND still be a woman as well!
Do you shave the pits?
@Random_Guy_Online Oh my gosh yes! LOL.
Trust me I: shave, bath regularly, wash my hair, brush my teeth, and use nice smelling lotions. I'm not that bad :)
Ok good😂, you shouldn't have a problem finding a guy then
Yeah, you are 100% feminine.
by the way, nothing wrong with tomboys!
Have you looked at yes no ratings/percentages?
I don't think a lot of people think you can't be masculine as a woman. They're just saying that it's not their preference when it comes to dating.
@AD240pCharlie Which is fair, I understand that most guys rather not date a girl that's masculine; it makes them feel like they're dating a guy (lol). I'm just saying that some of us that do have masculine traits shouldn't be overlooked; if anything, we're worth giving a chance as well!
@Guanfei Haha, no. While I refuse to post my real life image online, I can assure you, I DO look like a female! I have curves/a figure. I just come off masculine in some of my behavior- such as I love tackle football, play wrestling, I don't mind getting dirty if I have to, I prefer guys over girls as friends (platonically), I hate makeup and dressing up... things of that nature. Can I be feminine? Of course. I'm just not your typical female and I'm quite proud of that.
Well, everyone has a different perspective of what "feminine" means, though. Personally, I don't see it being as much about your looks or the way you dress as the way you present yourself. Being feminine for me means being kind, gentle and things like that. You can dress like a man, enjoy video games and all those things while still being feminine in my view, so I don't care about that when it comes to dating.
This place isn't a representative of real life, don't worry babe
I don’t let guys push me around anymore and since that it’s very hard for me to find someone.
Probably a blessing in disguise
@hsshannah96 Girl, same here! That's thing about being independent: guys realize you don't put up with nonsense so they're wary to mess with you or approach you.
It's good in a way, but it always makes dating SO much harder too! The few guys that do talk to me just see me as a close friend or "one of the guys." :|
@hsshannah96 What's so unfeminine about not letting other people abuse you? You can be kind, gentle and respectful without being harsch. The strongest and most independent people I know are also the most kindhearted.
@AD240pCharlie exactly. I have tried the kind and respectful way and guys just don’t seem to respond to that sadly
@hsshannah96 That's kinda what I mean. People who can stand up for themselves don't become rude or harsch when they're not being confronted. In normal social situtions, they are still respectful and kind towards other people.
I don’t think guys mind if a girl is masculine at all, just as long as they aren’t more masculine than the guy, it’s a pride thing.
I kinda relate to your issues, as I have a lot of hobbies and interests that would make girls think I am a "fag" due to them being not traditionally masculine
@Michael__1 no bro no. it's different. What kinda man would want to date with masculine, tomboy girl? No one. This is natural in relationships. Love is exceptional.
Lmaoo 🤣 I’m not bi so I’m just looking at other answers here but I understand what you mean by non feminine vs feminine. However my question is why is natural hair considered less feminine? I love philosophizing about these sorts of things bc they don’t logically make much sense.
Only to a certain limit
Guys don't shave their pits, whats wrong with us not shaving them, it grows naturally on all of us
It is absurd that guys don't want to date girls with body hair, when in reality their girlfriend could actually have more natural body hair than the girls they talk down on. If we wouldn't shave, you guys would have nobody to date! The absurdity of it all is: women have as much natural body hair as men, only the structure and length differs slightly. I have to shave when I want to be classified as a girl, but if I didn't, I would have just as much visible body hair as other guys at my age, just slightly shorter and straighter, but not much of a difference. It's no exaggeration, it's reality. The reality is purposefully hidden from you. I wanted my boyfriend to see the reality, but, unfortunately, he wasn't open to seeing it. I'm not a man when I have body hair, I'm a real girl. I understand the love for smooth skin, but you guys, should be open to reality, because otherwhise you live a hard illusion. I'm sorry for being so straight forward.
Who said anything about body hair? Or armpit hair? @OptimisticDaria
It's true what you are saying @OptimisticDaria and @Neugier. I watched a film recently called "I am not an easy man" it was on Netflix on my region you girls might like it (at least watch the trailer). I understand my girlfriend can grow decent hair, but you are right most guys don't know, and they don't know the effort or pain.
Oh and if someone does do a my take, the girl in A is called Flo, you can read about her here: www.dazeddigital.com/.../masculinity-female-butch-lesbian-lgbtq-gay-non-binary-jess-kohl
@PeterAyre
Thanks for the info, I'll have to check that out

My first girlfriend was actually what is in English called, a Tomboy. And I loved her a lot. It's actually convenient. Men are generally expected to do the chores, women be like protecting their nails, don't want to get dirty, trying to keep their makeup intact. Not her. She'd always help me if I needed help. My only other girlfriend was pretty feminine, and didn't do this stuff. Well, she didn't even live close to me (my first girlfriend was a neighbor, and she'd run to help as soon as she saw me doing something), so that might be the case, but anyways. I loved them both equally.
What does "unfeminine" entail? Wearing Jean's? Little to no makeup? Being muscular? Likening things that are traditionally considered male activities like sports or videogames? Because virtually no woman wears makeup and dresses and obsesses over "girly" things all the time
It entails armpit hair, apparently 😂
@Random_Guy_Online is that it?
Whats up with the armpit hair hate, everyones got it, guys dont shave it
I think it depends on the woman and on who the man is. I’m very girly and have a friend who is tomboyish and she gets more attention than I do from men so there definitely are men who will date tomboyish women but I’m not sure exactly about masculine women. The woman in the first pic really needs to shave her armpits though. That’s gross
i like girlier girls more, i think, but i can hang with dykey-looking girls or chicks who are grease-monkeys or have other less stereotypically femine traits or hobbies.
actually all 3 are super hot in their own way, especially if they really rock the style or seem comfy in being themselves. that's the best.
I was just like to point out that this is a very unfair choice for a lot of men and does not necessarily portray the situation in the question. Picture 1 is the picture of a dude, and picture 2 is my future wife! If you want to be fair and use a good visual example you should use two separate pictures of women, as opposed to a picture of a guy, and a picture of a girl. I'm just saying. Doing it this way kind of skews people's opinions in favor of no. in fact just because of the situation I seriously doubt you're going to get an accurate response.
Depends on what you mean by not feminine. Most women that call them selves not feminine are still feminine in my opinion, The following image is what an unfeminine woman is to me.. If you're not like that then you're more than feminine enough for me.. If that makes sense.
I'm attracted to feminine girls abd prefer to date them. Nothing "wrong" with a girl being more masculine of course, but tomboys just don't entice me sexually or romantically. Some guys are more feminine and prefer the girl to be more masculine, so there's a match for everyone.
Sexist scum, ALL WOMEN ARE BEUTIFUL IN THERE OWN WAY.
Who is sexist scum?
The people that are too stupid to live
Thanky thanky
I'm one of those sexist scums too and I'm a MGTOW Monk on top of that. I was having trouble figuring it out, why I and so many others have gone MGTOW. Thanks for helping me out with that.
No, but with a caveat. There is a loooooooong continuum between "unfeminine" and wearing a pink semi-formal and carrying a nosegay of flowers.
How about a nice Israeli Army commando girl?
Gotta love how men drool over these terrorists just because they are attractive.
@CubsterShura how is this girl terrorist
Ever saw how they torture innocent Palestinians?
@CubsterShura Are Palestinians really innocent?
I'll kick you out of your house to live in it, and when you will protest for your property I'll ask if you really are innocent for annoying me.
And fine, you don't want to believe Palestinians are innocent? Ok granted. Why do they torture KIDS then? You want me to believe the kids are not innocent? Why can't Israel just leave the innocent civilians alone and kill the actual culprits?
Because there is no real culprit. The real culprit is Israel, period.
@CubsterShura i think they see Palestinians as someone who want to take over their country. I mean jews finally get a country that also gets attacked by Palestinians and Arab countries, they are definitely taking the hard route this time.
I am not defending the Israelites coz they have become inhumane in stopping the rebellion but maybe Palestinians also need to be stop being so communal.
@AkshiJanjua Don't you dare being religion into this. They got a country? No they didn't. They kicked OTHERS out of THEIR country. How about I kick you out of your property and tell you 'ah I've been homeless my whole life let me have my own fucking home now'?
@CubsterShura i don't think you know the whole history
@AkshiJanjua yeah the whole history is that people decided Jews need a country out of pity and decided it has to happen at the expense of kicking Palestinians out of their homes.
And doesn't even matter what the history is when Israelis torture innocent Palestinians like that.
I like strong women like this but they are still feminine.
Are you a strong woman Cindy? 😗
oooooooohhhh yeah
Physically god no lol
that gal in the picture don't look that strong, but that's the style?
@LEADFOOTboi that girl in the picture is Juli Firso and is training in multiple combat disciplines and competes in Muay Thai, kickboxing, and jiu-jitsu tournaments. 😉😎
Come on Cindy I bet you can fight. 😋😎
fighting dont necessarily take raw strenght, but some helps... disciplines take better to endurance and speed... toning, and i can tell she got that...
@alongcamecindy can probly fight... but don't push her XD
The woman in the first pic could be feminine and that might just be a photo, and the woman in the second pic might be a tomboy/Butch and that photo might have just been a photo as well. Femininity goes far beyond these mere pictures.
yes as long as she was still affectionate.
Regardless of her personality, I would still like to cuddle, share little kisses and just nice little romantic stuff like that.
But if she was too cold or robotic or just not interested in affection then I could not date her.
Never. That is very unattractive to me. Unfeminine women are not wife and mother material.
*counting the downvotes*
Besides the armpit hair, the tomboy girl looks really hot. If I was a guy I would want a girl who's just in the middle. Not too girly or makeup/fashion obsessed but is well put together.
Define "un-feminine" you can still be a tomboy and still maintain a degree of femininity. One of the most amazing women i know is a bit of a tomboy. It's because she knows who she is. She not ashamed of being that person and that self confidence is incredibley sexy. But when the situation calls for it she can ditch the blue jeans for a dress and she crushes it. Basically it's her incredible heart that shows through all the time. She genuinely cares about other people.
Yes, I'd try to force her into clothes on special occasions like weddings and so forth but causally I'd be totally fine with it as long as we will still both affectionate with each other rather than acting like a couple of dudes
Yes. Tom-Boys are very attractive. Celeste Bonin is very attractive and she's very Tom-Boyish.
I'd go as far as saying that I prefer it, to very girly.
No, I am not into the butch types at all
The masculine ones are the girls I go for honestly, I'm not a top 😂
I don't mind dating tomboys. Even if a girl is 'masculine' she is still a girl and she can be feminine in a different way. Beauty exists in different varieties.
