Whenever I use dating apps like Tinder, I can never get any likes. Plus, it seems like a good chunk of the profiles are only there to promote onlyfans accounts and private snaps.
Fist of all, dating apps are used for sex not dating. Second, men outnumber women 999999 to 1 on them. Third, the creators of the apps have been caught intentionally sabotaging people on the apps to get money out of them or to get them to not use the app because they arnt apart of a desired demographic.
That is what I noticed on dating sites. Some people go there to not date, but to chat. Some are married or in relationships. You have to wonder what their agenda is? There are a lot of other chatting sites that are not for dating. I would be kind of ticked if I spent time chatting with someone in hopes of getting a date out of it and then finding they aren't interested in a date.
In some dating apps, there's questions that ask what you're here for and an option to say "to chat and meet new people"... and it should have that in their bio if they want that. So, you just have to look out for those.
@HOAAH Not necessarily. I used to only talk to one woman at a time. But then my older female friend said I was wasting my energy and that I should talk to multiple girls at once. I don't think I'm a player. If it gets serious with one of them, I'll cut the others off. (They were probably using me as an orbiter anyway.)

My problem is that it gives certain people so many options that they end up having almost unrealistic standards.
You meet too many messed up people. I have to wade through hundreds of potential matches just to find one who seems worth meeting.
Too many guys who are fake profiles or they just want a hookup
My friend caught herpes on tinder. She's giving it back. So don't use those sites!
I've had a mixed bag of results when it comes to dating online
Not finding a man that meets my preference based on looks, intelligence, confidence, personality and hygiene etc
I've never tried yet and I'm in no hurry to find a relationship so probably won't try it for a while either.

It’s more based on appearances than in person contact

You never know who they really are until the date I would think
I’ve never used it, but people meet a variety of ways. Downside might be only looking at superficial crap instead of personality.
Its pretty much ho bags and fat girls. Not really anyone else to choose from when your online. So i put they are all desperate losers in the poll.
I don't even date anymore, I just use it to have a conversation with people.

Yeah.
@Daniela1982 For real! That pisses me off as well.

@Ruenella_ That's a really great point. I usually check all of the boxes because I want to keep an open mind.
Unfortunately it’s window shopping, generally don’t get attention, besides initiating it myself ,
Most girls are very picky, most of their profile are very similar, if not the same.
I also don't like the fact that almost every single person on online dating apps/websites are looking for hookups nothing relatively serious at all.
People who like or match with you to just then ignore your messages. Just people who ghost you in general tbh. I don't get it.
If he's texting you, he is probably texting 7, or 70, or 700 other girls.
7, maybe. No more than that.
Sounds like a player.

@HOAAH and they are!
Not a fan because they go through hundreds of people and you’re one of them, not special in any way...
