I was snap-chating with a guy for over a month and often wonder why he wouldn’t make a move. I thought he needed time, but actually he just wasn’t into it. Out of insecurities I often pulled back, and he came after me but nothing ever happened.
Lately I was busy so I replied less, he got bored so he ghosted me. I felt sad but was too afraid to delete him. I had doubts in my head what if, what if.
I still deleted him and I must say I feel much better so I encourage everyone who happens to be in similar situation to get rid of people who aren’t bringing you a smile to your face.

For men, it’s always difficult to understand women, women are never open books. Women always send mixed signals and its hard to know whether she’s is really interested or just in for fun, a big percentage of women on social sites are either married or in relationships, they do it for fun when they chat, so where do a man draw the line? Understand she’s is interested but busy and keep on pushing or decide she’s not interested (why she’s always busy) and move on? Please note, my opinion isn’t meant to be offensive just facts, so have an open mind.

I had exams and he knew about it, this guy was no angel. If he was stringing me along for over a month without trying to see me is he a good guy? He was probably just after sex, nothing more. That is why he also wasn’t putting too much effort into getting to know me. Our texts were pretty much like whats up, how are you, aw you are hot. So nothing serious. Or how he said he wants to see me but he never made plans? If he wanted to he would for sure. And then how he just ghosted me at the end. I bet he had a girl whole this time probably or just got out of relationship trying to forget her talking with random girls. Its whatever tho however I do know not every guy is a jackass but this one definitely is. I’m upset I wasted my time. He said reason he hasn’t seen me is cause he’s been busy but at the same time he is lookin at the ceiling sending snaps im bored im bored. Well actions speak louder. I deleted him and I am happy now. I bet he won't even notice since he's such a player. But I had to show standardards and do this for my happiness however I do agree some people might be giving mixed signals, however that wasn’t me for sure cause I am very direct, he knew pretty much what was up since day 1, but he didn’t value that. Whatever his loss rlly
You are right, you did what you had to do, dude was never serious, sorry I should have asked more, my comment was on people who have had real conversations but never worked out (because a woman was never interested despite a man showing his seriousness)
I love you post I kind of find it interesting I'm on a couple other chat sites and I will always get a message asking if I have Snapchat I will say yes they send me their information I have them and maybe two or three hours later of get a message from them all right answer it when I can but I think 9 out of 10 times is some girl and she wants to sell her pictures. And say no thank you and then about two days later I'll get flooded with them sending me messages what do you need to buy pictures and I don't even acknowledge them and I guess I should delete them but that would be my luck would be a girl that wanted to chat and blah blah blah but I deleted her because I thought she might be a picture girl LOL that would suck LOL

I am honestly going through the same thing!!! I think in your case it was good that you had the experience but it was better to just delete him and move on. Life is way too short to be waiting on someone to talk to you and see if they are interested. My situation is vice versa. This guy online reached out to me and we've been talking for three months and now he just got quiet and I'm in the same position of just leaving him or ignoring him. But you did the right thing and I'm glad you were able to feel better and confident in your decision because you deserve someone who actually wants to give you time and attention not just puts you on the sidelines! Ghost they, delete them do whatever is necessary for your happiness 🙂
Absolutely. Once a person "disappears," or stops talking to me after a while, I delete all traces of them! Why keep someone around that made it obvious they're not interested in talking or dating you?
For some reason, people think ghosting is a "nice" way of ending things instead of just saying they're not interested or they're not feeling a connection. So I treat them the same way they treat me: like they don't exist anymore :)

I delete people who I do not actually have frequent contact with if they did something that hurt me, like ghosting. I rarely block though, so if they really cared about me they still have a chance, but no one has ever shown interest after so I always made the right call this way. No negative feelings when looking in my inbox :)

Yeah better to delete them than obsess over what they are up to and why they ghosted you.. of course most of them don’t, sometimes it happens thought but most of times not cause they clearly ain’t interested
Often I am wanting to chat, they don’t reply or sporadic, which can be more annoying.
then just have a cull.

Yeah pointless keeping them, it only makes it harder moving on as you often check on them hoping it was a mistake but truly they just ain’t interested. Its better to cut off than worry about it really. They probably won’t even notice and if they do well they will at least know you are moving on and not holding into them. You acknowledged their ghosting and you didn’t like it so you left on. There is many fish in the sea, why worry about one who only sees you as an option... worry about those who see the real value in you... most of the times its better to be alone than in such frustration

Hah someone else’s nudes yeah maybe but even theirs. Guys are so perverted now, they even talk dirty. Turn every single conversation into a wrong topic. Well depends where you talk to them. If its via Snapchat, fb, instagram i think its pretty much legit who they are but if you talk to them via gag or anything that ain’t personal then chances can be it can be anyone behind their profiles. Regardless anything, people shouldn’t feel so comfy sending nudes like that. It should be intimate with special person only.. but nobody thinks this way anymore

Did you do any moves? The guy might just be as insecure as you. Do your texts contain anything that prompt a reply such as a question? Lack of text isn't ghosting unless there is unfinished threads. That is just mutual silence. Guys want girls to make an effort today, you can't sit there writing one to three words replies, and complain you being ghosted. You effectively killed it yourself.
Well actually it seems like you actually kinda ghosted him and the guy just didn’t chase you so this is why you would like to delete him? If he’s already made his decision to stop talking to you, you deleting him literally would make no difference. Even if you went as far as to block him, why would it matter? He accepted you weren’t that interested anymore, realized his worth and moved on as he should.
Yea I deleted another dude. At first he was coming on too strong responding within seconds but now few weeks later it seems like whole convo is forced. I asked him what did I do wrong and he replied with that he's busy and isn’t so used to chatting much also doesn't know what to say we haven't had any deep convos. Ok well maybe i wasn't so interested at first cuz he was too desperate... but i still replied to him in fast time and we had fun talking so ya guess he just lost interest. He asked me a question about smh and I answered but he left me unseen for 17 hours so guess what. I deleted the message he didn't open yet and deleted him. Pointless to waste time.
As soon as I get a whif that it's one sided. Meaning I am doing all the work. I leave. Usually in that situation I lose interest fast anyway. What makes the person think I or anyone else would be interested in talking to a wall that makes no effort to keep the conversation alive or at least keep the friendship/relationship going? Obviously no one is going to bother with you.
It's not worth my time or energy to put thought into those who don't care or put thought into me. I just let it be. I really should clean up my contacts, though, so maybe it's a bad practice to not pay attention to the ghosts lol
Ghosting is such a inconsiderate, selfish act. It truly speaks volumes so yes it is very much appropriate to remove that person from your social media accounts and your phone contacts.

You said yourself you weren't replying (less), so he probably felt ghosted first! Or at very least, you had no interest at all in him.
Life is hard enough as it is. People do Not need people in their lives that do Not put a Smile on their face. Never be the only one making Effort. I do Not delete them because it lets them know their Presence has No effect on my life!
Deleting kinda shows you care tbh. If you didn’t care then you wouldn’t have paid them any attention by being aloof and not even visiting their profile to delete them.
I doubt that. Most dudes aren't looking to challenge women. If they want to make it official or just have something casual they'll usually establish it right away. Instead not letting the girl sit there on the back burner like some type of plan b I don't give a shit about you attitude. That right there shows he doesn't give a fuck about her. Anyone in that situation shouldn't try to date someone else who treats you so easily like that even though they are obviously hurting the persons feelings
