My boyfriend and I have been dating over a year (long-distance because he's a marine) and we have kissed once. This weekend when I saw him, he told me he wanted to kiss me, and I really wanted to too, but on the last day, he told me that he gets really nervous and wants me to initiate it. I was the one who initiated the first kiss, (which was months ago) but honestly, that felt weird to me. I ended up not initiating and so not kissing him on the last day, and now I'm kind of regretting it, but at the same time- I don't really feel comfortable initiating it either. What should I do?
Hopefully the two of you can get to the point where the both of you can openly discuss why is it awkward. I’m not sure how long the two of you have known one another but work together to break the ice. Kissing to greet should become a routine for the both of you.

He needs to man up. Here is a question for you to consider the answer to. In human biology, who chases who? The sperm cell chasing the egg or the egg chasing the sperm cell? Marine or not. He needs to chase you. Period.
