I don't know why she got upset.
But here's some reasons why people would not enjoy what you said:
I think she's right. There's no point discussing choosing the sex of your children. You get what you get. (And let's not go crazy like some countries do and kill off their females cause they didn't land a male. Sheesh.)
I wouldn't want to be in that conversation. Imagined hypotheticals that would never happen, can be annoying to some. Why talk about a choice that doesn't exist? It's a way to get to know someone, and their preferences, but we often in life don't get to choose everything.
Do you like analyzing and imagining 'what if' scenarios? ↗
Why would you go all biology prof on her? Lol.
That was totally unnecessary. That conversation is incredibly awkward. But i think she overreacted, but hey, at least she was straightforward? 😬😅
You should have hid her phone number before posting it on here..
Okay, no probs.
Small tip? Ask her to choose thetopic next time you guys talk. Or play 21 questions
Honestly, you did not say anything wrong, but she overreacted haha.
Its fine, now you know that she hates scientific stuff
Hahah, its okay. Just keep it casual
Oh boy, where do I start? First, why would you even talk so frankly about sperm to a girl you don't know? Second, if you're going to talk about stuff like that at least get your facts straight, X and Y chromosomes are produced in different testicles lol, seriously where did you get that from? I think you can guess by now but this is not true. Sperm with X or Y chromosomes are produced evenly across both testicles, they are however divided onto production cells that produce one or the other.
My final point about this conversation is that you continually kept saying you don't know what you did wrong when you should have just just apologised, dropped it and moved straight on.
I honestly don't know why she reacted the way she did. My only guess, which I'm not confident in, is she's not a very scientifically/medically interested person, and she thought your comments were boring (as she stated). But her reaction seemed more serious than someone who was simply not interested in a comment. Especially when you weren't even pushing that subject, as she's the one who inquired an elaboration from you.
All in all it was a very odd reaction on her part. I honestly don't know what to think of it.

Like someone else said maybe she didn’t want to talk about that stuff and she took it as you trying to get sexual. Either way boring topic to talk about overall
Bruh... you can't just post a full private conversation with a girl AND her phone number online. If she wasn't pissed by what you said, she'd be if she knew you shared her phone number with everyone on GaG. You say you're a logical person but I don't really see that...
She told you why. You're boring her to death 💀 change subjects
try a less intellectually stimulating conversation more based on like everyday life. Maybe she's going to be a bore for you if you require more mental stimulation. If thats the case I totally relate myself. exactly what is the goal of talking with her? Online buddy? something more?
Yes utter biological nonsense
But she probably didn't wanna hear about testicles and sperms
China? You may as well have chosen a girl in bum fuck Egypt to talk to. At least someone a little closer. You are possibly being cat fished, unless you know for a fact differently.
Why tf do you think sperm works like that? I'm so confused. That's a really outdated old wives tale, but I'd think with access to the internet you'd be able to pretty easily debunk it
May be she was not expecting that deep of a convo with you. or may be she is not someone who thinks with logic.;...
One more advice
scar her number out for her safety
Do you know this person in real life? That conversation was awkward as hell.
Also, your testicle hypothesis is not based in scientific fact. I have no idea where you picked that up.
Yeah I just looked it up. I can't remember where I read or heard about it originally. From what I found reading about the subject apparently there are differences in sperm that carry the different chromosomes but they're very subtle, and not divided by testicle. I don't know. These are all just things that I read or heard from other people.
One testicle creates X chromasome and 1 testicle creates y chromosome? That's ridiculous
Loool you just posted her number on here
Exactly, when she starts getting new messages from this place then she really might get mad now
