Would you marry a single dad?

I am 21 and I've been dating a single dad and he keeps wanting to take the next step with me. He wants to get married since he know i dont want any kid before marriage.
Would it be a bad idea to marry a single dad of 4 kids by 3 different women? I love him but it kinda scares that he has many kids by many women. Whenever i ask him about it, he tells me that it was his ex's fault. I dont know. I am incecure person too since i have never had a boyfriend. I dont know whether it is because of my shyness or it is because i am a femcel since i think i am ugly since i am virgin at this age.

The fact that he has 1 kid per ex girlfriend and there’s 3 different mothers is alarming. Also, he tends to blame his failed relationships on exes, but has he brought up any of his own flaws that may have led to the end of his relationships? If not, I see the lack of self-reflection and awareness as a red flag.


The final decision is up to you because you know him best, we’re all just random people from the internet who don’t know the extent of your relationship with him. If I were you, I’d be careful about it, and would definitely delay marriage for as long as possible until I get to really know the guy.

No worries! I hope I was able to help reassure you at least a little bit. These are valid concerns to have, and definitely not shallow. And it’s okay to be a virgin at 21, I’m 24 and I haven’t had sex yet 😂 don’t rush into it because of societal pressures. Your time will come ♡

I would not marry a single dad with 3 kids with different mothers. At least not until I got to know him very well through several years, so I know our relationship is stable compared to his previous. And surely also have a good talk about what one wants for parenthood. Maybe his is very different since it failed 3 times.

I don't think he can be trusted. Its just my opinion. He married three times and there's no way it wasn't his fault a single time. So make this decision very carefully. You are young and should be ambitious. there's a lot of time to have kids. Focus on your career rather than a single dad
