Why does it feel like men have to compete for women whereas women tend to have endless options?

It’s like most women have plenty of options compared to men. Some women will say men only want sex but they still have a guy they are committed too. I’ve approached gotten numbers but it typically leads to nothing or sometimes they’re already emotionally attached to someone it’s just difficult dating as a man and no my standards aren’t high. When I see women complaining about date options it’s because they can’t get the guy they want compared to most men complaining about having literally 0 options.

I think sometimes it seems like women have an easier time finding a guy wanting to have sex rather than finding a relationship. In my case plenty of guys want to do something sexual with me but don’t seem interested in anything deeper so I don’t date that much.
