Okay guys and girls what should I not do when on a date with the person you like?

I assume you are going on a date with someone YOU like, not someone I like! :)

Spend enough time preparing yourself that he will see that you made an effort. That tells him that you treat this seriously. Wear something flattering but not overtly sexual.

Talk about yourself but don't monopolize the conversation. Ask him questions about himself and let him talk, too. A good first date has back-and-forth conversation, not a monologue.

Try to keep the mood light. Don't talk about sad things or very serious things. Don't start talking about what you will name your first child.

Talk about activities that you like to do so he will get an idea about what to suggest for a second date.

If you feel attracted, stand or sit just a bit closer than you normally would. That gives the message that you want to be closer without being too forward.
