I met this guy on June 10th via Hinge, we met in person on June 18th, had dinner and drinks, walked around the mall, and then he waited for me to grab my uber, and we hugged goodbye. I texted him that I had a good time when I got home, and he texted back, telling me he hoped we could do this again.
He then texted me two days later, on Monday in the early morning ( June 20th), to ask how my weekend had gone, and we chatted a bit; he then texted me the same week on Thursday ( June 23rd) to check in on my day and ask me if I was free on the Saturday evening of that week so on Saturday, June 25th we met up for dinner, and also watched a movie.
He offered to take me home, so he dropped me off, and when he got home, he texted me that he got home and that he could not wait to do it again.
With that being said, this past weekend, we did not meet up, but he did text me on Monday morning ( June 27th) to check in on my day; we chatted a bit and then on Wednesday (June 29th), I initiated a text asking him how his eyes were feeling as he had a workplace incident. We chatted a bit via text, he then texted me on Friday to wish me a happy (holiday) ( July 1st), and we did not text beyond those greetings.
He then texted me on Sunday ( July 3rd) as he was on holiday with his family, texted me in the early morning around 8 am to check in on my weekend, and mentioned that he was having lunch with his family and what they were eating. I then told him that it sounded like fun and the food also sounded delicious, and he suggested that I visit his family's cabin someday to have some food. I texted him back jokingly that it was on the list, and he has not responded since Sunday afternoon.
Anyhow, I sure hope to hear from him tomorrow, and I certainly do not wish to double text, and I also find him more confident via text; however, in person, he seems a bit nervous/awkward/shy.
I'm 25, and he is 26.
