I hate dating sites. So much?

Okay ladies…does anyone else have this pet peeve?

On my dating profile I have my occupation on there. Very easy to spot. I match with someone and the one of the first things he asks what my job is.

Is anyone else peeved when guys cannot be bothered to take 2 seconds of their time to actually look at your profile beyond your face, or is it just me?

I absolutely hate online dating, it is too vanity based and people are way too forward.

As for the profile I have made a point of putting my name half way down my bio so I know who has and hasn't read it, as those who have seemingly make a point of saying my name when saying hi as if to point out that they read it, whereas the rest refer to me as my username, just comment on my photos or make an inappropriate offer.

I have called out guys for not reading anything other than my name on my profile. It is so aggravating!
For example…I say no pets because I am allergic to them all, and the amount of guys that reach out with pets is astounding!

I just don't respond to those whose opening line clearly highlights they haven't read my profile, I see it as them filtering themselves out, I don't want to date someone who just like what they see in my picture so I sure as hell am not going to entertain them.
