My boyfriend disagrees with everything I say. We’ll be having a normal conversation and I’ll say something and he just has to disagree with it. Even if it’s a fact what I am saying (the sky is blue), he will disagree and try to prove me wrong.
He also shits all over anything I like or enjoy. I said I like Stranger things, he says it’s “crap” and makes a point to tell me why it’s awful even though he hasn’t seen it. He says he will never enjoy it. I say I like Italian food and he says it’s overrated. These are one of many where he shits all over what I like. This happens ALL THE TIME.
It seems like there’s no rhyme or reason for this, he just likes to disagree with me just to be contrary. How do I tell him it’s annoying me and to stop?
