Should I contact my crush to see him or wait for him to ask while I'm visiting his city?

So I'll be spending a day and a half on vacation in the city where my crush lives. Should I contact him to see him and tell him that I'll be there or should I wait for him to see my instagram story and wait for his contact and for him to ask to see me. PS: he might not be in town because this is a vaccation.

Let him know in advance that you will be visiting, otherwise if you share pictures of you visiting the place where lives and you didn't tell him, he will likely think you do not care about him.

Sure, if you really want to meet him, than why not let him know you will be in town.

It's best to notify him ahead of time. If you wait until the last minute, there's a high likelihood that it won't work out.
