Guys that ghost and then come back?

I matched with this guy on Hinge, didn't hear from him and ended up deleting my profile. I signed up for it again and he found me again, we chatted and went on a date. I really enjoyed it and he seemed interested, we even kissed at the end of it. Never heard back from him. I get on Hinge again months later and he finds my profile AGAIN, and I still haven't heard back from him. What on earth is going on? He has my number (which I'm assuming he lost) and I never heard back from him after our first date so I assumed he wasn't interested. Dudes don't make sense sometimes.

Omg I went through this same thing but it was a few different guys and honestly I just think it’s lack of options on their end and boredom, wanting tto talk to someone. I had a couple years in my life where I was on and off the dating apps and sometimes there would be a lot of options and other times it would be super dry. So for guys like yours who never really delete the app and therefore see only a few new choices, they see a familiar face and rematch because they aren’t having any luck and think circling back to you will somehow be different. But it never is and if anything proves that it’s your guys inconsistency and lack of effort. I would match with him again, he doesn’t want anything.
