especially with online dating being such a common way to meet people. I have responded to that with i agree that the objective is to find lifelong companionship but i have some trust issues due to my past relationships.
I'd ask what her opinion is on a prenuptial agreement. I don't mind discussing what each person wants from their future. It is a good way to figure out how compatible people are for long term.
I act like myself. This makes a first date a rarity. For the second date, the woman might be thinking “I know he doesn’t act like that as lol the time, I’ll give him one more chance.” I figure a third date is a marriage scare, anyway!
Depends. General goal in dating is to find lasting relationship leading to marriage, fine , good to know what they want. They specifically want to marry me, yikes, I'm running
I must be the only guy on here who dated specifically because I wanted to eventually marry. If you weren't talking right this second I'm OK with the subject of marriage by date 3.
That's the purpose of dating. To find out if you're comparable. It is also fun to find out who these people are and where they want to go in their life. What are their goals what are their ambitions do do they want children.

That's what dating is for! You dont want to waste a year dating just to find out your partner wants no kids or wedding when you've been fantasizing about that gown and making a family lol
My girlfriend and I disucssed long term goals on our second date. We both wanted to get married. At that point it wasn't to each other, but we saw marriage in our future.

Isn’t that what dating is for? Better to know the important things early so you aren’t wasting each others time.

No, that way I know what she wants and whether we’re compatible, Yes I totally agree with you on this matter.
I am 34 so it don't scare me, and I am fully aware that her biological clock is ticking.
No because that requires two. And unless I am on board it won't happen.
I hope it doesn't. That's good communication right there.
I swear to fucking God, you all think that nobody does it, and yet you ALL do it.

If she's dating for potential marriage partners, that's good for her to mention it early on
No, not if she is discussing in a general way and not as in we should make marriage plans within a few months.
If she started planning the reception and how the nursery should look that would be, but merely stating her goals would not be.
No, if she didn't want marriage that would scare me off though.
