The Perfect Date -- Future?

Please describe what, for you, is the perfect date you'd want to take/be taken on.

Note that this is future -- I'll ask a question later for perfect past dates.

The only parameters are:

• money is no object.
• you have to stay on the same continent.
• give us details: what would you wear, where would you go, how would you get there, what food is involved.
• an alone date is okay too.

First update (second update will come; I promised you my version of the perfect date): thank you to all who responded, even the replies I received via message. Read those and appreciated them.

Likewise, apologies to all that I couldn't give MHO to everyone. This was one of the rare cases where everyone did deserve MHO but system limitations and all that.

Well booooo. :( I promised to provide my version of the perfect date. But... there's a word/character limit for updates. So I couldn't paste more than two paragraphs. Please let me know if you want the whole version and I'll DM it to you. The short version is: sunrise on a beach in Massachusetts. Boat to Boston. Plane to the Hudson Valley. Dinner in New York City. Private jet to Seattle. Dessert on a ferry sailing into the sunset.

Private jet. I'll pack a full suitcase for change of clothes (I can never make up my mind, and you never know with weather; plus my feet hurt in heels so it will definitely have a casual/urbanwear outfit, and something dressier for at night.) It will involve a steak. Filet mignon, 7 oz is fine, cooked Medium (I don't eat a lot in volume but it should be good quality.) It will be an all-day date, come to think of it. But not starting in the morning. I take forever to get going. We'll go to a proper Italian cafe for a non-fat or low-fat cappuccino for me (I don't know what he's having). Maybe two. Since we'll be up all day and half the night.

Maybe it begins in something like this, in the city.

Fly somewhere and go play in the snow for a while.

Around the hotel room.

It ends like this. (Or starts again like this, lol.)

I'm getting distracted by fashion here.

So, play in the snow on a mountain somewhere.

Fly back to the city (NY I think? Yes.) And go to a beautiful, intimate, dimly-lit restaurant that specializes in non-fusion, classic Americana, with some innovation, sure, but classic elements mostly.

After an early dinner (6pm ish), we go to a Broadway show. No idea the subject. A drama, not a musical (I don't like musicals), in an old historic theatre with lots of velvet.

Perhaps a lounge for 1-2 shaken cocktails after, then to our hotel room to retire for the night. But not sleep.

This is very disorganized and not comprehensive, but there ya go.

Ha-ah, I'm happy you've gotten this idea. I'll try to answer lol. It would depend partially on how well I already know the person.

It would be late morning or noon, I am dressed with a basic tshirt and a linen strap dress on, Fashioning a smile (trying to hide my nerves 😅). My nervousness only intensifies moreso when I lay eyes on my love yet I remain excited overall. We start the day with a museum date, I bring a small gift of chocolate and if all goes well, I'll buy them another gift- an actual gift to keep.

Afterwards, a few hours later, we either go to a cat cafe or some place more specific to their tastes.

There's a few cat cafes in my state, there's probably other cafes too but these are mostly regular cafes except there's cats everywhere. Main purpose is to get them adopted.
I think it would help to tell if the person likes animals or is at least caring enough towards those little bastards lol.

That is so very cool! I want to see one of these. Of course I'd come home with a cat and that would be less than optimal.

Pretty sure that's the point lol, they let you adopt two together for 25 bucks. From what I've seen, most couples end up adopting two.

There would only be two results if I came home with two more cats: I'd be banished to sleeping on the deck with the two cats, or my wife, daughter, and son would get a puppy, hamster, and mouse. And make me walk the dog in January in the rain and snow. 😥

The Modern in NYC is the Museum of Modern Art’s premier fine dining restaurant in an exquisite dining space overlooking the Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Sculpture Garden.

I've never been there, but it money was no object, I might choose that.

Spend some time at the museum before dinner. A romantic walk in the sculpture garden afterwards.

I'd wear a casual suit, no tie. She would wear something elegant but not formal.

Afterwards, a town car ride to Plaza Hotel and the deluxe king suite for cocktails, champagne, and relaxation.

I am not CharlieFretz so no worries on that score. 🤣 Seriously, though, I've done this for most of my professional life (haven't yet booked a magic carpet, so that might take longer) bartenders, drivers, etc. -- that's easy!

A perfect future date to me…. a simple picnic with a sweet yet hilarious man, set upon a soft blanket atop plush green grass. The sun would be shining and the temperature in the high 70’s. I’d have on one of my favorite thin strapped summer dresses and a cute but comfy pair of sandals, incase we decided to go for an evening stroll. We’d pack freshly chopped fruits, sandwiches, ice cold waters, a bottle of wine and two glasses. We’d spend so long sharing great laughs over a glass or two of wine that the sun would set without warning. As the stars and moon awoke from their slumber, we’d light candles and set them in the grass around the blanket. And I’m sure you could imagine what came next. 💗

A day at the beach, like going on long walks by the shore, going for a swim together, watching the sunrise and set over the ocean, looking for seashells.

A mountain date might be fun too. Going hiking seeing beautiful scenery, going swimming under a waterfall, getting good food at a local restaurant, going to a candy store and go shopping together in Mount airy. Driving through the countryside

Another one is a picnic in a field in the bed of a truck. Holding hands cuddling and gazing up into the stars
