Will he come back?

Hey guys, I’ve been ghosted almost a week now by a guy I was seeing for a few months.

Back story. We are both 34, we met and clicked straight away. He messaged me every day and called me daily always wanting to see me etc.

The last time I saw him (a week ago today), we were talking about our future, and he was talking about planning trips away. He planned a date for us two days away.

That night, I left my phone in his place. I had updated a social media profile of a photo of me at a wedding, and when I received my phone I had noticed that I had received several DMs from other men on my social media saying that I look good etc. My phone was locked, but messages pop up and are visible even if the phone is locked. I’m not sure that he saw these photos.

That night, he messaged me saying he wishes I was in bed with him for cuddles and that he missed me etc.

Since then I received 1 message only (in almost a week). He went back to his home county without even saying goodbye. I tried reaching out to him several times, asking him if he was ok etc. He has seen the messages, but he hasn’t responded to me at all. I ended up unfollowing him on social media out of hurt. He’s due to come back to my country in a month and half. The thing is, although he hasn’t responded he hasn’t blocked me from anything.

I’m really at a loss on what to do. Do you think it’s possible that he will reach out again? Should I try and reach out to him one more time?

How likely is it that I will hear from him again? I’m really cut up over this, as I’ve been ghosted for no apparent reason (nil explanation). Any advise would be welcome
