Broke up. He told me he never had feelings for me, that he can't make me as happy as I make him, and I deserve better. Does he really mean any of this? (Page 2)

There's always a possibility that there was another reason that he's ashamed of. When there is a lack of trust in the relationship it can lead to thoughts like these. I experienced this in my last relationship

All i can think of is that he's scared of commitment or he had his eye on someone else, but i will never find out. Sorry to hear you went through that with your last relationship, i hope you find your person!
Yeah, this sucks but it’s a pretty common reason to break up. Most times one person falls for the other person but then the other person thinks they’ll have feelings for them eventually.
He probably believes that, what a shame. However it is a cop out. It really means he is not willing to put forth the effort to make it work. You do deserve better, that part he got right...

.. And he failed all his orgasms too.
He's either lying or exhibiting psychopathic tendencies.

I know but what are some signs or things i should look for and do to prevent this from happening again?
It's hard to say, people will say to look at a person's actions to see if they line up with their words but even that can be hard to tell sometimes. You just have to vet heavily next time and make your boundaries and intentions clear about what you want in a relationship. Usually when women are very stern about this, this will scare off the men who just want to okay around with them cause they won't have any patience for her.

It's hard for me imagine a man that is legitimately afraid of commitment.
you are far too young to have sexual relationships if you don't know the difference.
we haven't had sex LOL
if a guy wants to work for you then he's usually sincere, or they'll keep you in the background until you give it up

Relationships based upon feelings are generally doomed to fail.
The important thing is that you LEARN from this. Next time use your head more and your heart less.
He might. You should tune out after "broke up". Everything after that doesn't matter
It was his way of letting you down easy
