Was I too harsh to the guy I’m dating?

I posted about this earlier the guy I’m dating stood me up. I was just wondering if I’m being too harsh on him here? I just have this thing where I nice to make sure I’m always nice and calm and i have a fear I was a bit to assertive? He kept me waiting 8 hours and didn’t let me know what was going on.

I messaged him saying ‘What’s happened is everything okay, I thought we were meant to see each other today but you kept me waiting on you without saying anything, I hope you’re okay though I get you’re busy I just wish you would have said’

im never confrontational at all so I’m really nervous that this was mean what I said or too aggressive? Opinions?

Yeah there's really no excuse for leaving someone unanswered on a pre-planned date day for eight hours. (I'd have probably texted a lot sooner than eight hours by the way.) I'd recommend assuming they're not interested enough, or thoughtful enough, or responsible enough to answer you in a timely manner. They don't deserve a text, unless it's to call them out on bad manners.

Stop worrying if you were mean to him and start thinking that he wasn't being nice to you. It takes 2 seconds to tell someone you need to cancel and why. The fact he just left you waiting means he’s not really worth any of your time at all.
