Why won't he apologize?

My boyfriend is stressed and going through something but i dont know what it is. He got mad at something I did and yelled at me calling me all kinds of bad names. We made up and I had to be the one to apologize. I told someone and they asked him about it but he just laughed and didn't explain why he did it. I feel like he owes me an apology for everything that was said but he refuses to give me one and says i deserved what happened. He's never been this type of person and i don't know what gotten into him.

I know it is very difficult, however, you should consider slowly backing out of this relationship. Things like these never improve and you are seeing just the tip of the iceberg. He is definitely sure that he has you trapped or you do not have the will power to remove yourself from the Situationship that you are in.
