Why did a guy at high school (years ago) ask me out, we went in a date where he barely spoke to me, and then later I heard rumors that we made out?

And he barely talked to me after the date either. It was like he was avoiding me. But then months later he suddenly asked me out again. I said no.

Strange - Wow , thats reliving the past if your age there is correct , but I sometimes have thoughts like this , " Why did this or that happen " , in hindsite I was pretty dam slow in my late teens and 20s.

No idea why he'd do that , sounds strange.

At the school reunion , and old classmate came up , we were all messing around in a group and she said ( right out of blue ) " You remember when you asked me out? " , I said , No , I never asked you out , I wanted to , but I thought you liked $%^ ? No , you asked me out and I wanted to go with you , you asked me to dinner -- " Okey , well why didn't you go then? " - " I wanted you to keep trying , because I thought you liked xyza ( a girl 2 years younger , which I really did like ) , I said " Wholly fck , you should have given me some clues , how smart do you think a 17 year old boy is? " , we had a great laugh about it , it was strange some of the old clicks still existed.

The old clicks lol. Yeah. But it makes sense cause we gravitate to those like us. Doubt many people change all that much over the years.
