Women - but especially American women, I can't speak for many other women around the world - will 'require' a man to have all those things you talked about it if she wants some guy to settle down with and be her husband. But she has no care about any of that in other men she just wants to sleep with or just wants to control them.

So you're mostly right. Because Marlene Dietrich also said "A woman sets out to change a man, but once she has changed him she does not like him." And the reason for this is because when a woman wants to feel in control and feels inferior to men she knows are smarter than her or more put together, she'll go for guys she thinks she can fix, because it gives her a sense of being smarter and more morally superior. Hence needing to have a feeling of control. She knows she can't control the men who are better/smarter than her.

She does want a more dominant man. If it's about sex, or provision. But if she needs to feel like she's in control, she'll go after guys she knows she can do that with.

There are literally billions of guys in the world, everyone is replaceable. But that doesn’t have to mean that everyone will get replaced. If you are looking for something long term then yes, being the best version of yourself you can be, and finding someone who likes you for that is the most likely method of success.

But no. I disagree. This is going to sound corny and cliche but the actual way to keep her? Talk. Go on a date every few weeks even if you're married. Put in visible effort to impress her sometimes. Don't be afraid of problems but focus on how to get past them. And after all that? Sex is actually kind of important. So bonk each other's brains out every once in a while.
