Guys, Why does my boyfriend of 3 months never plans real dates?

We would go to free public places or stay in the car, he only bought us dinner once and I had to order food for both of us twice. Overall he looks really into me but I don't know about this behavior. I am low maintenance and I don't ask for much, but it looks unreasonable to leave your girlfriend hungry when you are out with her for more than 2 hours...

Some people date just for a booty call & it’s possible that girls in the past took advantage of your boyfriend just for a foodie call. On the flip side it’s possible your boyfriend has another girlfriend, wife or family & spends his money on them & it’s lost possible your boyfriend is cheap or broke.

I don't know this person, so i don't know his situation or the countrys dating culture there. He might be saving for something, or he don't have that much and might be embarrassed about that and don't really want to spend money he might not afford to spend. Or it can be that he don't want to be tricked into just being a guy that gives free meals, he might want this to be serious and long lasting, so he might be testing you to see if you stick around. And if you do he might losen up more and do more dates.
