I’ve never had a girlfriend or had sex and I’m almost 21. I’m headed into my third year of college in Mechanical engineering, and have some good guy friends but haven’t met any girls. I workout, and am decently fit. I try to take care of myself. It’s starting to take a big toll on me and I feel too old to be in this kind of position. Here’s are pictures

You are attractive. It could just be that most of your life is hanging out with the same group of people, either male or already spoken for.

I would try putting yourself in a new social situation without your friends to lean on. Examples include co-ed sports team, board game night, trivia night, speed date nights, finding a seasonal job (restaurant, ice cream scooper, brand ambassador, cashier).

Sometimes our friends limit how open we look to being approached or "looking mysterious." Sometimes you might approach a girl, but your friend mess with your confidence or make sport of hyping you up, rather than actually helping you.

You have a very nice face and physique. The acne is a little off putting but everyone deals with that at some point. The way you say you’ve never had sex comes across as sounding like you’re begging to lose it rather than being proud that you maintain self control and don’t just throw yourself at every girl. Reflect on your approach when you go up to girls. Also make sure you don’t have resting bitch face so that girls find you friendly enough to approach you as well. Its all in how you carry yourself

I saw on the other comment thread that you wanted to ask a girl out that you know at least a little. My old high school friend reached out to me and asked me out. And I appreciated how he did it. He messaged me here and there and commented on my stories and posts. Then when things seemed more comfortable he talked to me more then asked for my number. Maybe you can reach out to someone you used to know in high school or just in general. I think that way they are not a complete stranger. I wish you the best of luck!

you’re not bad looking, but I do think you need to change your mindset about your situation. 21 is pretty young, so do not feel like you need a relationship simply because of your age. work on yourself, your insecurities and on your future. build yourself up, and as you do that, somewhere along the line you will meet someone and it will be natural and genuine, rather than forced and desperate.

Now that you will be 22, maybe you can go out with your friends? That's always a good way to put yourself out there.

Also, I have found that glycolic acid has really helped get rid of some of the old acne scars I had. I use the pads on my face after I wash it. I got them on Amazon. Just keep in mind that it is a little strong, so not good for sensitive skin, and you don't want to use them if you are going to be out in the sun afterwards.
