Would you get into a relationship with an average looking person?

I'm asking this because I've never been in a relationship, and from what I know no one has had a crush on me. I'm average looking. Personally I think I am ugly, but when I asked my sisters to rate me I got 5/10 and 6/10. When I've asked other people I've gotten a rating from the range 4-6/10, so I guess that makes me average/on the verge of being ugly. I'm scared no guy will ever get into a relationship with me because I'm not physically attractive. I'm not a "prize". No guy would show me off to his friends or be proud to be in a relationship with me. If anything a guy would probably be a bit ashamed of me. So, would you get into a relationship with someone average/plain looking?

First off, looks are objective- just because you think you're "average," someone else might think you're hot or very attractive.

Basically, stop stressing over your looks and focus on ways to accentuate your features you do like and make yourself more appealing to guys.

Second, you're under 18 (or so your age says on here). Why are you wondered about finding a guy? Not to sound rude, but I didn't even get a boyfriend until my mid to late 20s- and yes, this is coming from an "average" looking girl. Anyone can find a relationship if they want one bad enough. Also, your sisters are rude : Instead of insulting you, they could help or give you advice instead.

Well I am 17 so 18 is not far away.. My sisters aren't rude, they are very chill, honest people. They think I am average looking, and I respect their opinion. My friend that's a guy thinks I'm average too, as well as some strangers I asked to rate me. SO yeah... Are you married?

Here's the thing: despite rating, it's entirely subjective. One person's 10 is another's 2. Rating is shitty because there is zero standardization. It literally means nothing.

Also, siblings SUCK at rating. They are naturally too hard on each other. Just ask my kiddos. And my brothers (called me small for years. Not height.).

There are plenty of men who will find you attractive. And I resolutely doubt you're ugly. As frustrating as this is going to be to hear, I beg you to have patience. That guy is out there.

Um, on average, most relationships include an average looking person… because there are so many which is great because genetic selection has determined them to be best for reproduction.

With that attitude, no wonder. Just being honest. I'm average looking too. I just don't care. I'm glad that I have the girlfriend that i have. She's average looking. But also beautiful. Attitude makes your looks go up or down.
