Why am I only attracted to light skinned or caucasian people?

I’m not trying to sound like a racist or have any intention of hurting someone. I also don’t mean to put people of other races down.

However, I do know all humans are from the same species. However, in the dating world only white women are my preference. As it is I only want to date white women because I’m only attracted to white people. I’m a white man by the way.

There’s no need for someone to date outside one’s own race to prove he/she isn’t a racist. That’s absolutely ridiculous.

You are allowed to have whatever preferences you want. It's the same as me saying I prefer women with smaller breasts, it doesn't mean I hate women with large breasts. Similarly I doubt you hate women who aren't white, at least I would hope you don't. So no, it isn't racist to have preferences. It's only racist if you start treating people differently (outside of wanting a relationship) because of their race, or if you are telling people they should only date within their race. No one can force you to like someone you don't like, just like you can't force them to like someone they don't

Same reason why people tend to prefer to be around their own race. It's what you're already used to and it's the most comfortable with. Also, it could just be your natural preference too.
