I know it should not bother me but it does I’m not saying I should have a say in what he does, but it natural to feel hurt by it even though i know its not his responsibility or am I crazy to feel this way?

If you haven't defined the relationship, that is a bad thing, yes.
You are allowed to feel whatever you want to feel, but you're bound to be disappointed because you're expecting a greater degree of commitment from people than would be appropriate in the context of the situation.
I wish the girl I was seeing/talking with for a year felt comfortable telling me about things like the trip she took to India earlier this year and what sort of car she bought; it's disappointing that she doesn't, but I can't expect her to share that stuff with me because I'm not her boyfriend. I have no reason to know other than her choosing to tell me. She and I aren't dating and we certainly aren't in any kind committed relationship.
It's natural, it happens and it's okay that you feel this way but you need to accept this as a feeling that may be worth ignoring for the good of your potential future relationship.
For myself, I think it helps to remind myself that I am an animal and at my baseline my emotions are reactionary and it's only through filtering them through my self-awareness that they really matter for me.
An analogy:
That my concious mind is the border-checkpoint that everything hopefully goes through before I take it serious. But that is a constant struggle and sometimes when I lack understanding of myself, what seems like one thing is actually an emotion indicating else, something has been smuggled across the border..
Welcome to jealousy my friend. As long it's not affecting the way you treat anyone or bothering you then we all get a little jealous occasionally. If it ends up being a big problem then it's take to take a look at your own insecurities and figuring out why you're upset/nervous because realistically his behavior is completely normal.
Guys will cheat in one way or another, even if it just online chats. It is just something you have to get used to.

Allow your self to feel insecure, jealous. Do not let that feeling over power you and do something silly rather use that energy in positive things as let him know try to get exclusive with him and such. Identify and acknowledge how you feel be curious about what else you feel why and how you can use that energy to take it in the direction you want.
You can control your actions, not how you "feel" about something, so "No." it is not bad.
