Women are not that serious about dating, they don’t even check their accounts that often, shit responses, ghosting 👻. If you end up talking it lasts no more than a few days. Most of the women on dating sites are bots and scammers. The few actual women are low effort using the app/site, many for hookups.

The quality women could use them to find love quickly, but because fuckboys spam message every attractive woman they see (compatible or not) any of the good women who make the attempt, will never see your messages, because their inbox will always be full.

Your only hope on dating sites, is for the woman to see your profile and message you first, but the odds of one of those being a match for you is very low, and most women on those sites expect the guy to message first, even though its causing a problem.

Bumble attempts to fix this by forcing women to message first, but the number of quality women on it is so low, that feels like a ghost town. A few critical criteria put in, and you get zero results.

Plus, the character limit on bumble's about me section makes it useless for anything other than hookups, which is probably why it's a ghost town.

I honestly think you need to look inwardly because the common denominator in all of your experiences whenever it has come to dating is you. Whenever I struggled with dating (prior to meeting my current partner) a lot of what made it hard for me was my weight, I still attracted people but it was harder (not impossible tho) to attract what I wanted. And many, many people make it work because many people continue to find partners for long term relationships and marriage. But it is easier to blame "dating" than it is to blame yourself.

First of all this is not only a Western problem. It is true in most parts of the world nowadays. In the early days, only some males would even live long enough to reproduce. Most would just get killed in a war or because of diseases. This means that a large proportion of women would reproduce with a small proportion of men. With the industrialization of the world and more peaceful times, this situation changed. Every man is able to live long enough to reproduce. But this doesn't mean that women find them attractive. Women might still be biologically inclined to consider only the most attractive looking males as suitable partners.

Another thing is that women are able to work and earn their own income. In my father's time just having a good salary would guarantee you a wife. Nowadays that no longer happens.

Men are willing to settle for much lower than their expectations. Women have considerably higher standards than men when it comes to choosing a husband.

Acknowledge that there's no political agenda or conspiracy that has led to this. Just apply basic anthropological principles. We have come to the age where there is a surplus of men (that women are not biologically inclined to be attracted to) and women are earning their own income. Therefore the value of the average man as a husband has reduced greatly.

If you keep complaining about this, it will only lead to more bitterness. Just learn to accept the reality for what it is. And stop using online dating apps, seriously. Try to date someone you know in real life, like someone you are already friends with.

If you are tall and attractive it already solves most of the problem. Try to find a wife who has similar interests as you and has similar values as you instead of just going for the most physically attractive women. This might be a better strategy.

You'll find something in that range for sure... Providence isn't the MOST expensive place there... Newport and Narragansett are... so you can forget those.
