Do I have a chance to find a partner now that I want one, but I'm not getting close to one and I have been rejected by one?

Im women with a learning disabity went on one date with the last guy, but he rejected me and said we were looking for different things. People can change their minds, but I am looking for a long-term relationship and am not here to mess around with different men. If they can't be honest upfront. I would prefer people let me know that i can move on another men that going take a while still. i don't want to be single but i still hasn't much luck with men so far. I still feel like men will be the same no matter what type men that i do go. i'm know that not truth but seem to be same relstu of not getting what i want and moving on over and over again. I get annoyed and tired of men but I'm not interested in dating women at all. so i have go for men only with a learing disabity and yep my mum was happy when i get rejected. see not just only men that be rejected. Girls and women can be rejected. Like i did get rejected by one man that did canled two dates that were meant to be second dates and he sent what can i do that how improve my list to get as many men as i want if one don't work out then is on to the next men and so on. lot guys online has complemeimt me as cute, hot , beautiful that i seen in my message on online dating what are you throughts on this?

Rejection is part of dating. No one is ever going to be 100% up front with you from the start. It takes time to get to know someone. That doesn’t mean they have to lie or be dishonest. But anyone who says they are 100% up front with you from the beginning is lying.


Learning disabilities are fairly common it seems like these days. In fact to the extent where I think calling them disabilities isn’t that accurate. Everyone learns differently.


I don’t wanna diminish who you are. And maybe your learning difficulties impact your life severely (I don’t know). But I would not talk about that early on in dating if I were you. Focus on your personality. Focus on your hobbies. Just be yourself. If it’s a big enough part of your life to impact you, he’ll see it. Otherwise, it’ll come up naturally with time.


Having a bit of mystery is a good thing. It can be overwhelming to someone if you share everything all at once. Give it time and be patient.


But yes, you absolutely have a chance. Stay positive.

I'm not looking any types of hockup. i'm just looking for long term relationship and so far hasn't work out at all and i have date men with a moredete learning disabity. any men that do not have a learning disabity i can't even dsate. i'm already given time and stay postive and still nothing happen. wating does nothing to me.

I’m not looking for hookups either. Ideally I want a long term relationship, but I’m going to take it one day at a time and get to know someone first. It’s not black and white between hookups and long term relationship. There’s middle ground. Starting with just getting to know someone then moving into long term relationship slowly, creates a great foundation.

And why can’t you date any men that do not have a learning disability?

is because of safety and my mum is too overreactive of me and also comes on date with me. i can't give rid of her. i been trying to get know different people and men so nothing. still go back started and start over again. i can get date ok but never seem to go anyway but dead end.

I understand the safety. But people with learning disabilities can be just as unsafe as people without learning disabilities. That is just a false perception.

But you’re now an adult. The simple reality is your mom won’t be there forever. The goal of any parent should be to make their kids self-sufficient. So it sounds like you need to move out, and start living your own life. These are choices you can make on your own.
