Potential partner has criminal charges?

one of my customers asked for my number and i gave in because he seemed sweet. now he’s telling me about his past and i’m kinda freaked out tbh. all the way from juvenile charges and they just get worse as he grows up. he’s saying he changed and hasn’t been that aggressive or anything in a long ass time and that’s in his past but he’s being honest with me about it because he knows it’s something i should know. i don’t know how to feel about any of this. aggravated assault with a deadly weapon is one of them. or if i just ghost him im afraid he’ll be weird and get worse

Having grown up with criminals in my family, they very rarely have ever changed, if they have have an extensive criminal history. Often times they will always resort back to that criminal life.

I remember meeting a guy who disclosed from day one that he had done time for armed robbery and how he was banned from another state due to the crimes he had committed there. At the time I met him he was working but I always had a gut feeling he would end up back behind bars and my gut was right because less than 12 months later he was back in prison after having committing another crime.

I'm not saying they are all like this, it's just my experience with those who have extensive history with committing crimes that date back to their childhood. Sadly that life is all they have known.

People with extensive criminal records rarely change. They probably will never be hired for a serious job and will resort to crime to make money
