when he kissed me, it was so wet and slobbery. i had to wipe my mouth. tried again on the second date, same thing. can’t do it

does it matter that he paid? coffee on first day then coffee +ramen for lunch

he texts. he says nice things. i really want to ghost but he’s actually kinda gentle inside. i just don’t want to give a reason

Uhh, that's a tough one. I mean if you're really not feeing the kissing then it's probably not gonna work out. But ghosting ain't cool, he seems like a nice guy. Maybe just be honest, say you had fun but just didn't feel a spark? And like, don't mention the kissing cuz that's kinda insulting. Say thanks for the dates but you don't think you're a good match romantically. Or you could just slow fade and gradually reply less and less till he gets the hint. But you should at least thank him for the food and stuff even if you gotta end it.

Not a bad idea actually.

I was dumped once by a girl who did it over lunch that she insisted on paying for.
It was very gentle and I never held a grudge.

But then again if you've only been on 2 dates you don't owe him big break-up it's still very early. Just tell him you're rethinking your priorities and that it's a complicated time to be seeing someone.

Since he's an online meet he doesn't know your life or people in it.

Why not just teach him how to kiss if that's the only issue? "I like it/it really turns me on to be kissed like this..." then show him.

I'd just tell him. You can either fix the potential relationship that way and/or help him out for the next attempt. I feel like ghosting is the worst thing you can do here.
