What do you think about this female character from a popular Bollywood film?

She has been portrayed as an ideal Indian woman who is extremely religious, shy, reserved, modest, polite and beautiful. Her personality is considered so perfect that an ideal Indian man marries her even after she gets burned. You can read the detailed plot of the movie Vivah if you're interested.

I'm curious to know your thoughts. Do the qualities embodied by her have a universal appeal? Are women supposed to act this coy? Be as honest as you'd like to be.

So for some this would be a ideal woman and for some this would be a "Turn off"

I'm not familiar with the movie but idealized characters are generally boring. We all need to eliminate our physical waste products.
