We’re both Muslim. He is full Kuwaiti and I am half Mexican/ half Kuwaiti. He goes on and on about liking me etc. so, to see how serious he was I told him my mom was with me and asked him if he wanted to talk to her and he got very quiet 🤐 😂. Long story short, he didn’t talk to her and went to sleep. Is he playing me? Keep in mind this is a guy that has a very promiscuous past that he admitted to. I’ve never been in a relationship. I’ve had a guy friend but we never did anything bad.

First thing like you mentioned, he has a promiscuous past which turns out to be a really big negative in his favour. It'd take a lot more from him to actually ignore that fact. And how he ignored talking to your mom really doesn't help it. More likely than not he's playing you.
Another perspective is if you haven't been talking for long enough, then it's natural for a guy to not get involved with the parents. That you can answer how long you guys have known for each other.

It's difficult to know if he is playing you based on him not wanting to speak to you mother. Has he done other things to make you think he could be playing you like not being able to explain where he has been when you cannot reach him which could mean he is with other women?

There’s times where he’ll take a little longer than usual to reply, 30 min-1 hour, but that’s about it. However, he has mentioned that his best friend that he shares a flat with is in a committed relationship but he still messes around with other women. The guy I’m talking to says he was the same in the past but he has chamgEd etc. Do I believe it? No, he’s 27 and at that age most men are all over the place same with women. However, I do want to point out that when I had first met him he was behaving in a not so religious way up until I put a stop to it and he realized it wasn’t going to work.

If he has a history of being a womanizer I think it would be wise of you to keep a very close eye on him to watch for strange behavior including trying to look at his phone to see if he is messaging other women.

Ehh I’m not about to do that. I’ve come to the conclusion that he can go ahead and do whatever he wants. I won’t have any expectations for him nor will I take him seriously. I will take him as just another person that I sometimes talk to. If something comes out of it then great, if not then that’s fine too.
