Can you trust that a man actually loves you if he goes woman to woman?

I found out my current boyfriend has a history of jumping into relationships.

He cheated on his wife and got caught. They split up so, after a few months, he went off and briefly "dated" a girl. When she told him they weren't together, he immediately pursued his coworker. (Within days!).

He said they didn't date or get intimate but they were flirty. They texted and saw each other for a year. One month after she "split" from him/cut him off, he immediately met me.

We've been together one year and he says he loves me but sometimes doesn't act like it:

He doesn't show me off to anyone in his life. He still stalks the "friend". He breaks up with me and gets back together when things don't go his way. He follows and talks to other girls/"models" on social media hours after we breakup. Only to woo me back and act like nothing happened.

Should I trust when he says he loves me. It honestly feels like he just uses me as a prop to show how happy he is. Sometimes it feels like he doesn't even like me. Like I'm just someone filling in space.

Whether or not he actually loves you (he could), I personally don't trust relationship hoppers. Because they could be in love with you, but there is some emotional baggage or unhealthiness they are dealing with due to the fact that they can't be single.

Relationship hoppers usually don't like their own company that much, and are trying to fill a void they are running away from using other people. I don't think they're emotionally ready to have a stable, secure relationship that goes the distance.

I know because I used to be a relationship hopper. So I wouldn't date one. But that's just my opinion.

It sounds like based on exactly what you said he sounds very selfish, extremely immature, and that he's using you or keeping you around as his safe choice.
