Are you going to date again if your current relationship fails?

I'm single. I've never dated. If my first dating fails I might date again but again it will be sexless dating. (My type of sexless dating is dating without having any physical contact to the private parts). As a virgin I might have more than 1 romantic partners at a time but once I get married I won't ever have a 2nd sexual partner not even if my husband dies.

So the advice of test driving in my case is meaningless.

I'm implying that it's better to find love and experience it even after you lose. Just because you were hurt doesn't mean you should build up an emotional wall and not let others in.

This only applies to people that have not been together with someone for many years. If you were together with your partner for say... 20 years and they die, then it's completely justified and understandable that you do not move on and live the rest of your life in content.

But if you're someone that had a breakup after 3 years, it doesn't mean you should close yourself off and live in seclusion for the rest of your life.

Thus the reason for the quote "It's better to have loved and lost than never have loved at all."

I've been married for 20 years but I'm sure I'd probably want to remarry if the right girl came along if something happened to my wife. It's not something I really think about in terms of anyone I know now, but if my wife died or we split and someone else comes into my life I'd never say never.

That’s cool. If i were to date again.. it will be a resource-less relationship. Meaning we will only be going on free dates.. walks in the park, hanging out at the beach, watching the sunset on top of a mountain whilst hiking.. sort of deal so we can get to know each other. If she gets upset about it.. she isn’t the one. If sex is off the table so is my resources until we are married then you get the benefit of enjoying husband privileges.
