I met this girl at the lap swimming pool about a year ago and we go on adventures together like hiking and swimming and biking and we have a gone out to eat together a couple times but we drive separately and pay for our own food but I was wondering if I should pick her up and take her somewhere to eat and pay for both meals I did take her to the post prom party but not actual prom so how would I go about changing my adventure buddy to my girlfriend also how should I let my parents meet her and should I be nervous about meeting her parents

If it were me in that position. I would arrange to meet her at her house, meet her parents on the off chance they are there, then drive her round to my parents. Simple.. No more to have to worry about.. all out the way before even mentioning about her being your girlfriend..

Yes, take her out for dinner and enjoy yourselves, then at the end of the evening if you've both had fun tell her you could get used to this!

There is no need to make a thing about asking her to become your girlfriend. Show her what it will be like instead of asking her.

Be sure she knows you well enough that when you're both comfortable, you can ask her to be your girlfriend. (At her parents' home... maybe, but such an arrangement might be a bit intimidating for you.)
